We were there for 3 days and 2 nights, the room is spacious and have mexican decoration. However, it's very noisy and we're not sure where's does it came from, it's more like machine-generated sound. There's a pool, great for kids, but the beach is a no-no for swimming. It's very dirty and only recommended for water sports not for swimming. One of the room is smelly, we're not sure whether it's the mattress or the whole room, the smell only go away after 2 days. I'll think twice to go to this hotel again.

Finally, managed to stay at Casa Rachado Beach Resort.

First the beach...because it is located near to Tanjung Tuan (Cape of Rachado), yes you can actually enjoy the breathtaking sight and sounds of the beach. It is not the typical Port Dickson beach, it is slightly better. Of course u still can't beat the beach at the East Coast of Malaysia! Not really suitable for snorkeling, but still can do some swim and enjoy the sea water all the way!

Okay, now about the hotel. Overall, I wouldn't say it is great or poor. Just okay. The rooms are old and not refurbish or refresh. Suggest to check the cleanliness and surrounding of the room. My experience, the first room that I checked in was totally terrible. The closet is beyond words! Horrible. The bed was like full of 'bed bugs'.
Luckily managed to inform the staff and got a better room the very next day and not to mention this time the bed is NIL bed bugs! The closet is better than the first room. In my opinion, the rooms are possibly inconsistent in terms of cleanliness and housekeeping. Positive side is that the hotel staff was receptive and attentive when highlighting the room problem.

The price is not bad and it is inclusive of breakfast for 2. Tried the breakfast which was a standard breakfast set. It was fried mee hoon, toast bread (4 pieces), watermelon, chicken sausages (2 pieces), mango juice, and tea/coffee. Overall, ok not bad.

Question...would I come back for a second visit? the answer is yes..because love the beaches and as for hotel...sure....but it will be great if the rooms can be refurbished or refresh...just a suggestion.

We stayed in 3 rooms apartment. The rooms are clean, spacious n aircon is cool. Only dissappointed with the lack of wifi in rooms. Nearby beach is not suitable for swimming. The hotel looks outdated. No lift... Bad for elderly folks.

We went for a class holiday trip after a major examination to relax. My teacher booked 3, 3 Room Apartments facing the pool and the sea. We recently went on 19th October 2011 on a 2 day 1 night trip.

First impression of the hotel: The building looks outdated. It looks like an old type of apartment.

The apartment it self: It is OK, there's the clean kitchen and surprisingly my apartment had a brand new Refrigerator. There's 2 Television in the apartment, 1 in one of the rooms and the other one is in the living hall. However, the channels are a bit blurry / distorted maybe because of the analogue signal. Our apartment had 3 extra bed's that were requested by our teacher when she made the booking. However, those 3 extra beds are very dangerous to use. Because its fold-able.. You might not want to bed to "fold" while you were sleeping. Because of that bed, I injured my friend's toe. The room itself is descent enough for an apartment. There's 3 bathroom in the apartment itself and it is surprisingly clean!

I went for a holiday at this hotel on a non-peak Wednesday. I dont think there's any other guests at this hotel/apartment at that time. So the environment was peaceful and quiet.

The hotel is just by the beach, you can have volley ball, football by the beach and BBQ at night. I advice you not to swim at the sea though cause it is dirty..

There's lots of activities that u can do here, such as karaoke, fishing trips, etc etc.. (look at their website) but we didnt participate in those activities because of lack of time.

So far, I can recommend this apartment for those who wants privacy and doesnt want to spend much for a room.

Oh, BTW, there is Wi-Fi connectivity near the swimming pool but non in the room.
