My family had a weekend trip to Avillion Port Dickson with the kids.
The parking is across the street, and crossing the road was life-threatening! Even with a pedestrian crossing, cars were pretty fast and the kids almost got knocked down. When we complained to the hotel management, they took no heed and no improvements were made to ensure our safety.
We booked the water chalets, and the open-concept rainforest shower was what we enjoyed most. The beds were good, sheets were clean. Balcony facing the ocean was pretty awesome.
If you plan on heading down the beach, bring some antibiotic powder or cream. Even during midday there were plenty of sand flies. It was low tide when I went and the beach was nothing to shout about.
For breakfast buffet, don't be surprised with the amount of flies buzzing over the food. According to the management, it's "seasonal".
For dinner, I would recommend to avoid ordering Western cuisine at the restaurant. It tasted a bit off. The Asian cuisine was better.
