From our first contact with this hotel to the moment we left the staff at this hotel were extremely hospitable, helpful, friendly and efficient. We used the hotel for 3 separate stays as we were using Delhi as a hub while travelling in India and they not only dealt with our multiple bookings very efficiently but also arranged all our transport to and from the airport and train stations. They even went out and bought anti mosquito cream for us when we realised we'd left ours at home and when we left a credit card there by mistake they held it in their safe until we returned again.
The reception was always very clean and inviting. The spotlessly clean large rooms (and en suite shower rooms) are well appointed and are modern in style and the beds are enormous and comfy. The only drawback to some of the rooms is that they have little natural light but, in our experience, these rooms were quieter as they are situated at the back of the hotel (tho its almost impossible to escape the noise completely in Delhi). We also found that in the rooms near the lift/stairwell you could hear the noise from the reception (including the phone) so something to bear in mind if you're a light sleeper but it didn't really bother us.
The breakfast was both western and indian and there was plenty of it. On a couple of days during our stay we had very early morning starts and the hotel made up take out breakfasts for us. The evening menu was comprehensive (indian, chinese and western menus) and the indian dishes we had were very good - we were very surprised that they don't advertise the evening restaurant more (they also serve perfectly chilled kingfisher!).
It is a fair distance from Connaught Place and the Red Fort but the tuk tuk journey is a reasonable price and the metro is a couple of blocks away. That said there are plenty of shops and restaurants (including a chinese serving alcohol) in Karol Bagh so you don't have to stray outside the area if you don't want to.
Overall very good value for money and would definitely recommend.
