This hotel is like a fantastic oasis in the middle of Delhi. The hotel itself is lovely, with a great lobby and nicely appointed rooms. The breakfast is delicious, with a great variety of both well prepared Western and Indian foods. We had the dinner buffet one night as well, which was a good mix, a lot of variety, and a bonus was the service team didn't say anything when we brought our own glass of wine in. There were also a few restos upstairs (I think Italian and Asian) but they were completely dead. Didn't check out the bar.
There really isn't anything to do right around the hotel-there is a shopping area of some sort by it, where we took a short walk to, but the streets are so crowded with traffic and the "mall" is kind of a dump so not worth really going to...it is right by the monorail train so seems like it was easy access but we had sightseen all day so decided to stay in hotel at night.
A few downfalls-we had some issues with the room cleanliness...small things, not too big of a deal, and also forgotten amenities-quickly fixed when noted to reception. There was also massive security check at arrival, which required scanning your bags, and was an added hassel if you had to wait for others and/or had multiple bags you had to bring in (especially since I didn't think they really even checked it). I also found the charge for the Wi-Fi (even in the lobby) ridiculous, as it's a huge business hotel. The Spa was nice although a little pricey for India and not willing to deal. The fitness center was supposed to be 24 hours, but when trying to go at 530A it was locked and unmanned. Was on the smallish side for a gym but free bottled water! I was also unnerved by the fact that there was SO many employees EVERYWHERE-sometimes I felt like I was being followed. Pool was closed and drained. Other then that though..beds were comfy!
