We had a great couple of nights at the HGI in Saket. If you're looking for business accommodation, this will be a fine choice. Service is excellent, the buffet is quite good and facilities are on par with business class hotels. However, tourists may find the location in the Saket mall district a bit far from the sights and (relatively) expensive to get to them. That said, it was nice to escape the busier parts of the city to the calm of the hotel as well as get some shopping done.
My only complaints regarding facilities are the lack of bathtubs in many rooms and that the king bed is just two twins put together which isn't ideal if traveling with a partner. The wonderful service, particularly at breakfast, may more than make up for these slight inconveniences.

Over the years, I have been staying at the 5+ stars hotels in Delhi as there was no other options available. I was pleased to see mid range hotel like the Hilton Garden Inn open recently. I stayed there 6 days recently and was very pleased with the outstanding service provided by the hotel staff. Each and every staff member was helpful and interested in pleasing us. I am especially thankful to Mr. Kodesia who went above and beyond to assist me and my wife. My wife became sick and Mr. Kodesia arranged to get the medicines for us. Also we liked a cd being played in the adjoining mall and Mr Kodesia again got us not only the name of the cd but the cd itself. These are just few instances of type of service
we received at the hotel.

Granted the lobby or the entrance to the hotel is not as impressive as the 5+ star hotels but this hotel makes up with the service it offers. Food was great and attached malls are great asset for shopping etc.

Stayed at the HGI New Delhi for 5 nights in early Feb. ( Travelled to New Delhi for a family wedding). The rooms very exceptionally clean and quiet and the hotel staff was attentive and courteous. There is only one dining option, the India Grille, in the hotel; however, the hotel is attached to a large complex of shopping malls that have numerous dining options.
The India Grille serves a very good breakfast buffet, and has a nice bar/lounge area as well.

The room had good wifi coverage, bed/pillows were extremelycomfortable, and bathroom amenities were of good quality.

Tip: if you are going to Agra and the Taj Mahal, hire a car/tour guide through the hotel, and ask to have Sanjay as your driver and Ravi Chaurasia as your guide- you won't be disappointed!

All very good at the Hilton Garden Inn and all you would expect from a Hilton hotel. Staff were very good, wifi worked very well, the location next to a new mall is great for different food options and so the combination makes for a confortable stay in Delhi. Should you be in Delhi to see the older monuments and attractions which are primarily in the north then expect more travel time.
