The Best part is that this Hotel is CLEAN, really clean.We stayed just four days at the WoodCastle. The rooms were Cozy and well equipped. We had great time there and we were very happy. Service is excellent and staffs are friendly. the free wifi access does give alot of conveninces to travellers. woodcastle also have a good kicthen which can provide tasty local food for 24-hours. Travelers can also seek advices from their travel consultant his advice was really useful when we were planning our trip round Rajasthan {Higly Thanks Hassan) There's a great atmosphere in the lounge/lobby area, and we enjoyed meeting other travellers. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much at WoodCastle.Best value for money in Delhi and would not hesitate to go back there,Would definitely recommend to first-timers to India!!!

It is located a little far from City Center but very close to Karl Bagh Metro station( 5 minutes by walk) so you can easily get everywhere. Very hard to find so please prepare good map to show taxi driver or book a transfer from the hotel which is of course more expensive alternative. You can also use metro and do everything by yourself. Breakfast is very poor. There is one computer with free Internet cafe. This hotel is more like big family house whicg was changed into hotel. Rooms are clean with TV. Service helpful. I would like to give good rating but there is choice between average and very good so I am forced to give very good because this hotel regarding Delhi standards is better than average for this price.

I cannot say enough good stuff about this hotel. I had been traveling in India for 5 weeks and got to this place in Delhi at the beginning of February. It was a little hard to find, but that is my ONLY trouble. The taxi guy had to ask around a little, but once we found it we were so pleased. The neighborhood in Karol Bagh is so sweet and traditional. It's walking distance from the Karol Bagh Market, which is awesome (don't be afraid to Barter). When we got to the hotel we had an extra traveler with us and they had no rooms available, so they walked her to a close hotel that was just as nice and the same cost. Cost was excellent! They set us up with a triple and the room! It was CLEAN, the comforter and sheets were clean, no bugs, western toilet, toilet paper, and an awesome overhead shower. The water pressure was good and the hot water plentiful. They had a TV and lost of space, as well as a mini-fridge. The pillows were a dream. The porters carried our luggage up and down as well.
When we got there a travel agent was chatting with the management and he became our friend right away, helping us find everything we needed, a great restaurant (All SPICE was it's name), helping us get a taxi for a day, helping us with anything we needed. They had bottled water too and made breakfast in the morning. They had internet on a nice computer in the lobby. The environment was friendly as well as the service. The greatest thing was how they held our luggage for a whole day while we were out (our flight was at 3am and we didn't want to pay for an extra night). Then...when we were waiting for our ride they had an empty room and let us take a nap and shower in it for free. For a budget hotel, I felt like we were in a 5 star. Ask for Javeth. He was the cool travel agent. He never asked for money and we just tipped him at the end. I loved the place.

This little hotel is in a good location close to the CBS and a short walk to the metro. The rooms a very comfortable, furnished tastefully and equipped with air-conditioning and fans, and a clean and well kept ensuite.
There is not a lot of tourist information volunteered but if asked the staff will advise on transport options, things to do and best practice in negotiating prices etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and the foyer/lounge/reception area is a cozy spot to meet other guests and exchange tales about your Indian adventure.
The food is good value (breakfast is included in the tariff) and the meals are offered at all times of the day.
I stayed at the Wood Castle twice of short periods of time and found it great value for money. I wished I had stayed longer.
