This is a new building and is spotless. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable, and I was delighted to be upgraded to a much larger room which was enormous. All mods cons managed through an iphone and it worked very well. The bed was enormous and the bathroom the best I've ever had in India. Breakfast downstairs was included and was in buffet style and good. Airport transfers smooth and comfortable.

The only odd thing was that my room smelt of stale cigarette smoke and at my request I was moved to a room which was fresh. Strangely, when I got up next morning and left my room there was a strong smell of smoke wafting up the atrium which extends from the ground floor to the top floor. In all my years of travelling I have never experienced this in a hotel of this quality. At busy times they could do with more staff on the front desk, there were several important looking guys but only one doing anything and the poor guy was busy with checkouts and end less phone calls.


Cigarette smells aside, this is a fine hotel, convenient to the airport and excellent value.

I was very surprised (positively surpirsed) when I arrrived at the Suba International in Mumbai. I wasn't expecting much - a hotel near the airport, not so expensive...but we were so well received, they've sent a transfer to pick us at the airport, the room is very comfortable and the hotel is very new and decorated in a modern style. I do recommend Suba International - even though I couldn't have a beer during dinner, as they don't sell alcoholic beverages. Never mind - the comfortable facilities worth the sacrifice :)

Arriving from New York (via London) at 1 am and a week later from Kochi early evening and in both cases on to other cities early the following morning (Trivandrum and Nagpur), needed a hotel near the airport rated adequate on Tripadvisor. The choice of the Suba was good, about a mile from the international and domestic airports. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel has a shuttle -- one of the main reasons I chose it -- but we were not picked up on arrival from New York. Could have been my fault as I didn't confirm our arrival, though we did have a confirmed reservation which in my view should have been enough. We were picked up on our second stay. Also, we left a wake up call the first stay, which we did not get (fortunately we woke up early as our internal time clock was messed up.) We did get the call the second stay. We paid 5950 rupees (about $120+) rupees the first night, booked via Booking.com, and $133.12 the second night booked via Agoda.com. All in all, a good value for what we needed.

Very clean inside the hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, big room with very comfortable bed. Close proximity to the Airports. Well prepared meals, which can be severed to your room.
