We recently stayed at the Marine Plaza Hotel for three nights. The welcome we received from Hemant on the front reception desk was warm and friendly. Even though we arrived three hours before the official check in time, Hemant went out of his way to ensure a room was made available for us. And what a room it was! It was on the top floor with sweeping views of Marine Parade and the sparkling Arabian Sea. We were personally escorted to the room by Prateek who kindly explained all of our room facilities. In our room the beds were extremely comfortable. An unexpected and welcome feature was a separate storage room for our luggage. Everything was spotlessly clean. We dined at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet, as well as the evening dinner buffet had a range of Western and Indian dishes. The quality of the food was high. A feature of the hotel is the roof top pool and sun deck. It is a definite must to go up at sunset. The views across the Arabian Sea are just amazing. The hotel is definitely 5 star all the way. The tarriff is high but no more than other hotels of this standard in the immediate area. In our opinion the hotel is worth it. We would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. Hotel Marine Plaza was our first and last hotel in India. The staff were always friendly and we enjoyed our rooms (3 in total). The concierge were very helpful when meeting the requests of a young boy keen to ride on one of the double decker buses. Room service was great and ee all enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We would happily stay here again when next in Mumbai.

My wife and I and friends have been Staying regularly at the Hotel Marine Plaza in Mumbai over the tears. We've just returned from another memorable visit (30 December 2011 to 3 January 2012) in this marvellous boutique hotel. I must confess that one of the reasons my wife and I return to Mumbai each year is to usher in the New Year at the Hotel Marine Plaza. We have been fortunate enough to have been present for 9 such occasions and we have not been disappointed yet. The party is great, the entertainment caters for all ages and the food is sumptuous. Once the Marine Plaza New Year party bug bites you, you will soon be planning your next visit. The amenities and facilities are excellent and the staff are extremely friendly. They see to your every comfort. Hats off to the General Manager, Mr Sanjeev Shekhar and the Assistant Manager, Mr Dereck D'Souza. Tyhank you for keeping up with all our expectations. This hotel is well situated with breathtaking views of the Queen's necklace. The New Year's Bash was an experience that one can never forget. Food and drinks galore -
3 discos and one band in one hotel on one night. Awesome party. Hotel is beautiful with clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Really enjoyed our stay.
