This hotel is located in close proximity to the airport but quite far out from the city centre. The plus points include a friendly team, who are welcoming and will go out of their way to deliver. A positive in the guest room bathrooms was a glass soap dish to be used to place the soap bar with a relavant message on saving resources and the environment. The spa although a little dark was a brief experience with the benefit of utilising the free voucher for a 15min foot spa treatment was a marvellous experience. The chauffeur that took us around the city was a good driver, knee his way around the city and drove very patiently despite the crazy traffic in the city, However there are definitely areas for improvement, the room has dark wooden furniture and a lot of clutter with messaging of various services from the Radisson. The safe lock didn't work and the laundry fees are quite high. The room for breakfast could be spruced up as due to lack of natural light is not too impressive as a spot to start your morning though the uttapam was delicious! All in all a comfortable stop but I would think of shopping around for better rates across other brands on my next stop in Chennai. One final note of thanks to the waiter who served us at the lobby level restaurant, he was amazing and gave us what we needed which was a simple home style meal and was extremely efficient in providing service.

Of all the star hotels I have stayed in, Radisson Blu Chennai definitely has been the best host. Amazing ambience, friendly staff and state-of-the-art infra! Be there to experience luxury at its best!
