marvellous experience. I've been there for a while, due to business reason...and it simply feels like home. Very nice accomodations, from the basic room, to the suites. everything extremly cured. gentle staff, very good choice of food (don't miss the oustanding restaurant on the room, worth a visit even if you are not staying in raintree). There are two more restaurants, a buffet one, and the very nice mongolian one in the basement. for party people, the hotel offers also the nice havana club, latin american is a must there! Rooms very well equipped, LCD tv, kettle, office corner.
Well, a must if you are in Chennai, won't be disappointed....and for sure won't desire to leave it!

This is a lovely hotel - great rooms, great food, wonderful service (same goes to the anna salai branch where we also spent one night). I am surprised that the Raintree is not ranked first on the trip advisor list (we stayed also in the Radison Blu hotel, which was fine, but both Rainbtree hoteles are much nicer), this is one of the bet hotels I ever stayed in,

We had come for the leather fair with 04 of my friends and stayed here for 5 days
The food was great in all the restaurants but the pick of the lot was the roof top restaurant
The breakfast spread was vast and had lot of choices.
Had a great experience when i stepped out of the lift on the roof top ,i was shocked to see the seafood festival that was going on and above all the varieties displayed there,the chef promptly greated us all and said that he was the chef there ( vinod kumar-head chef )and he was going to help us select the seafood
we all started from one end and chef vinod was explaining about the varieties displayed,i was truly amazed with the knowledge and experience he shared about the 50 odd varieties that were displayed , for one moment it was like we were watching the geographical channel i must say you have the right person as a head chef
He suggested us the starters and main-course and we all had truly the best meal of our life
He came to our table and checked if we were enjpying the meal we were honored that the chef was at our table and he made us feel very special like kings there
we all had a look at the on-site grille and cooking
overall it was a great experience
The service was also equally good,and i must bring this point to the management that you have the right people at the right places and i am sure the group will go to be one of the leading brands in india

we will be back next year and our expectations would be much more higher for the FISH BAZAAR ,i am sure our friend chef vinod kumar would again spin his magic around us

I visit Chennai almost every year,for the firs time i choose the Raintree hotel and was surprisingly pleased to be there. The service is an excellent,beyond words, rooms are very clean and elegant. So, i decided to switch my previous preferences from Taj to Raintree, and will be back soon. Excellent, simply wonderful place to stay.
