As is often in India, it's a hotel presenting itself as a luxury 5 star hotel but it falls short of the mark in terms of international standards...little stains here and there, things not quite as they should be. For some reason, they simply don't know how to maintain rooms or buildings in India. with my experience to date in India, only the Taj group of hotels knows how to really keep high standards.

I was the only person in the 'executive breakfast room' but I still had to put effort into getting staff attention, it amazes me.

The restaurant buffet was of high quality and good value for money.

'Please give me two minutes' from a staff member translates into a ) ten minutes or b) I need to call 40 minutes later as they've forgotten.

The hotel is nicely located. The rooms , conference facility is very good. The hotel provides excellent free wifi all over which certainly helps on the business trip.
The southern aroma offers delicious south Indian food from all the four states and the setting and decor is good to give you the taste and feel of the food.

I've stayed here 3 times on business and always enjoy the atmosphere. The food is good the staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. will be back soon

We've had a wonderful stay at this property The Residency Tower Hotel, Chennai, during the 3th week of October and had a very enjoyable stay. Right from our check in to check out. The hotel management took out time to see that the guests were taken care of well and felt at home. The rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable and the hotel has a wonderful business center. Breakfast service excellent. What impressed us most was the service. The Residency Tower was an excellent place to stay. I would recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.
