My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with our teenage daughter and completely loved it.
The hotel is a beautifully restored chinese shopfront/merchant house - the restoration is clever and modern without detracting from the history and overall charm of the building. Situated in the old city centre most of the interesting historical points of interest are within walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and on the weekend the Jonker Street market is almost on your doorstep, not to be missed for some great street food. This part of town is a thriving Art hub and a stroll down the street reveals numerous galleries and studios and some great shopping opportunities. The staff were friendly and helpful and always ready with a smile. The breakfast was really good with an incredible array of local delights as well as more western alternatives. Our room was quiet, simple,classic and comfortable and the only regret I have is that we didn't stay longer - we will be back

This is now the second time in coensecutive years that we had stayed at the boutique hotel. The hotel offers excellent value for young families and the staff are very helpful- on our last day they even carried our luggage all the way to the bus stop for us!The room we stayed was very comfortable and stylish- we will definitely be back next year.

Great location in the heart of the old City Centre. But, it was the interior decor that left the lasting impression. Apparently, the hotel has picked up a few rewards for its fine design and deservedly so. Loved the shower and the adjacent rock garden.

The breakfast buffet offered a selection of different choices sure to suit everyone's taste.

Fabulously pretty Peranakan rooms with double wood doors, platform beds and traditional carvings decor.

Serene courtyards where one could just sit under the aptly positioned ceiling fans and chill by the bamboo plants.

The cool air conditioned front lobby and thoughtfully placed iced water dispensers were a joyful reprieve from the blazing Melaka sun.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall a very enjoyable stay! I'll definitely visit again.
