It was a couples with babies foodspotting trip to Melaka. The hotel was new and clean just like I'd seen in the other reviews, that's the reason why we stayed there. Just want to point out a few important thing. The GPS coordinates of this hotel, it is 2.19768, 102.23334. On Bing Maps it looks like this is a hoax because it is a coordinates right out in the Straits of Malacca. But it is not, tihs area is still rather new, and it is in a reclaimed area, so that's why, but on Google Maps, you should see it right. Don't use the GPS coordinates from the hotel's website because it brings you to a row of shophouses. Since we had young babies with us, it was rather inconvenient not having a fridge in the room, but fret not, we brought out old Coleman ice box, which worked pretty well. Only the family suite had a fridge but we didn't take that. Other reviews commented there are no kettle, tissue box, etc, but to our surprise there is. So having boiling hot water is not an issue. Would recommend to anyone who is driving to Melaka.

Stayed here for 3D2N, based on those reviews, not putting high expectation on this hotel, but overall I think is ok, I might come again next time if Im coming to melaka.
Their room quite clean, toilet functioning, aircond functioning, staff are friendly that they always put a smile on face. =)
For the bad thing, it might be their location, cuz is new so you might find it not many shops around that you have to drive to the town, and bear with those sounds come from outside the room or the room beside, because their wall is not thick enough to anti those sounds.
Overall, I would say not bad. Worth to stay here. =)

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in mid November 2011. As it is a recently opened hotel is was as expected... brand new. Rooms and bathrooms clean, kinda spartan but that is okay. Breakfast could be improved a tad! Rates are good. Decided to do the grand tour of Malacca hotels in the future and up to date have tried Bayview and Holiday Inn (another story)

Clean, spacious, modern design, good location and worth the money
Need to train the front office staff. 2 staff handling 1 check in customer and let the other customers leave unattend.
Breakfast should have more varieties.
