My company did a function at Holiday Inn Malacca last 2 months and we have an opportunity to stay there for a night.
First of all, I like to lobby. It's big and the staff are friendly.
Secondly, the sofa at the coffee house is comfortable. My colleagues & I sat there for a drink after a long day work.
Thirdly, the buffet breakfast offers a huge variety and the dining environment is nice. I like the way they set up the tables and also you can just order mocha, cappuccino, espresso...etc...
Talking about the room, it's spacious and nice. Bathroom is clean and the bathtub is nice. It's a simple room but you just feel comfortable.
I will recommend you to stay here either on vacation or business.

Beware major road crossing into town extremely dangerous no crossings

This is a very nice hotel. We stayed there for one night. The rooms were the usual design, comfortable beds and a nice shower.

Located not too far from the centre of town, the hotel offers a free shuttle back and forth that we used. The staff was very helpful with the family, and prompt to service our needs.

Breakfast was good a very cheap for hotel standards.

Only one note: the elevators doors when closing are quite violent. Beware!

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. The location is good, facing the melaka straights and within easy walking distance of the town square and the historical sites. The room was spacious, light, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic - their efficient, courteous service helped make our stay very enjoyable.
