If we could give it more stars we would! From the minute you step into the glassed foyer you are pampered - you can't open a door yourself as all are staffed by the friendliest people with the biggest smiles who can't wait to open the door for you. Don't even think about pushing a button for the elevator yourself as a staff member is racing to beat you to it LOL!! Absoultely beautiful hotel, so close to everything, over helpful staff - western hotels should have a look because even if their service was 25% of Grand Central's then they would have learnt something about valuing their customers as well as their staff. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Fantastic Hotel! Excellent service, vert reasonable price, all round fantastic! Great location, right near the metro line that takes you to either airport, right beside Nanjing Road which is a shoppers paradise! The rooms were large, very clean and bathroom was excellent! Cant speak highly enough of it!

The location is excellent because it's close to Metro(Subway) and Nanjing Rd. We booked a non-smoking room and it was spacious and clean. There are a lot of restaurants, shops and also the Bund is within walking distance. The hotel staff are very friendly with ok english speaking skills. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a nice enviroment...would stay at this hotel again next visit to Shanghai.

The Hotel is centrally located near Peoples Square and Nanjing Road. The room was fantastic with a good sized queen bed, a small seating area and a desk. In the bathroom there was a separate shower and bath. I was only there for one day so didn't get to experience much within the hotel. I had to leave at 05:00 in the morning the breakfast box that was prepared was a little disappointing hence the knocking off 1 point. However 99% of people would eat breakfast in the hotel which I hear is good for both Eastern and Western visitors.
