Excellent rooms, undisturbed views. Superfast room service. Nice design with Chinese and inernational elements in-room. Outstanding breakfast. Good value for money. Not downtown, but still within reach. Must be one of the est hotels in China.

A friend recommended to try hotel indigo on a recent business trip and I can only say thank you - everything was perfect I was blown away.
Friendly team greeted us each day and night.
They put a DVD and popcorn in our room when we wanted to watch a movie when it was raining one night and did not want to venture outside (great DVD library)
Delicious breakfast and great coffee (better than starbucks)
Funky design yet a homey feel with fantastic views across shanghai.
Free wifi.
The general manager, Bruce, greeted us on a few mornings and interacted with guests and staff in a genuine and friendly manner (evident that the staff enjoyed working with him)
Indigo should be proud of such a great hotel, efficient & fun staff, and great attention to detail. Thanks from Vancouver!
We went to Shanghai for our honeymoon and decided to try the Hotel Indigo and it was great.
Clean, spacious and fabulous design.
The bed is very comfortable. The amenities were local and high quality (where can I buy?)
The views throughout the hotel were amazing.
Also the service was refreshing ... Friendly, chatty and efficient ... But still professional and well mannered.
The food and drinks in the upstairs bar & grill, char, was a great honeymoon treat ... Thank you for the champagne and chocolates in our room after dinner! Bliss.
I stayed at this place over the New Year holidays with my husband and 1 year old. The initial attraction to this place was the location, along one end of The Bund. We were pleasantly surprised that all other aspects of our stay here exceeded our expectations. Frankly, it's the best hotel I've seen in China which is not atrociously priced.
The decor of the place was chic and ultra modern. The rooms were a comfy Chinese colonial era inspiration. Even the toiletries were of great quality. Service was good and the front staff spoke good English.
There was an excellent write-up in the room on what to do, where to eat, complete with directions on how to get there!
Breakfast was great with a cold buffet and ala-carte hot food that all came with the room. Food was uniquely presented and when we had dinner there one night, food was delicious and not overly priced.
Overall this hotel is a winner, but I must stress that it is located at the very end of The Bund so a little walking is unavoidable.
We were very delighted with this great hotel.
Beautifully designed with amazing staff - CC in quay who made us a great coffee and served up a delicious breakfast - Fiona in Char who made us smile and ensured we had a great night - Gigi at front desk who was super helpful.
Thank you all.
