Fabulous location on the river, with magnificent views and easy access to a number of tourist attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a truly memorable experience. The Yi Cafe Buffets are outstanding with food for every palate.

Shangrila is the same everywhere - a reliable brand indeed. Good service, extensive buffet, good ambiance, clean.

“Excellent location for business and tourists!”

First time to the hotel and very impressive with the location and its view to the other side of the river. It is the best location on the river bank in Pudong with shops and restaurants all around. The city/river view is excellent at night with glittering lights, skyscrapers and river. (cannot comment on the room rate, I stayed with a friend.)

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view to the PuXi side.

“Wonderful”

Stayed here several times and got engaged here back in 2007. Pool is wonderful if you get it during a quiet spell with spectacular views up at the towers. Definitely worth paying extra for the suites. Amazing!

“Convenient Location, Good Gym”

As with the other modern hotels I have experienced in Beijing and Shanghai, the Pudong ShangriLa rates very highly. The gym has convenient hours and is well equipped with free weights, cardio, and weight machines.
