A little gem in the middle of Palermo Soho.

Fantastic staff who really are a credit to the hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Room wasn't quite what I was expecting but I think that's because I booked the wrong one! Anyway ours was perfectly sufficient for our stay. L'occaitane toiletries - one of my faves :o). Not sure why they provide teabags (no coffee?) in the room but no milk - nothing to say you can't go and buy your own though! Jacuzzi on the roof that they said they would happily fill for us - unfortunately much too cold for us at that time of the year! Must be lovely up there in the summer.

Within easy walking distance to everything - we must have covered the length and breath of Palermo Soho! Highly recommend this hotel, only reason we didn't stay here on our return leg was because we wanted to experience a different area. Would stay another time in a heartbeat.

The Glu is a fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Palermo Soho. The location is the best. Almost everything is walking distance. It is the hippest place to be. You are surrounded by bars, restaurants and shopping.

The owners of the hotel were extremely helpful and sweet. They would help us with anything we needed. Carolina coordinated with us 2 weeks in advance and answered any queries we had. Bertha, her mum was the gentlest soul who would go out of her way to make sure we saw and did everything that was essential in BA.The staff was also exceedingly helpful and were always available. From reservations, recommendations, directions, to sightseeing destinations, they covered it all.

The rooms were very large and cozy. At first I found my room was not too clean but when I pointed this out they did a thorough cleaning. Additional perks would be free wi-fi, complimentary tea and coffee with croissants. They even got us fruits as we are used to eating a bigger breakfast. I felt so comfortable and at home.I would highly recommend this hotel. It was lovely, personalised and so convenient.

Six stars! Can't say enough about the amazing staff. They anticipated our every need from breakfast to afternoon tea, and recommendations (many of them) for dinner. No request was too small or too large from Spanish lessons, finding us a ride to and from the airport, helping us get tickets for a day-trip to Uruguay, finding the best place to watch the World Cup games, and getting a vegetarian meal in Buenos Aires. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the media-lunas and fresh-squeezed orange juice can't be beat.

Room tip: Rooms in back are quieter.

Pros:
1. Right in the heart of all the BA nightlife
2. Staff is unparalleled by any I've encountered in the world
3. Umm... Complimentary wine (bottles), beer, coffee, waters, breakfast
4. Staff goes out of way to tell you where you need to be in BA to find what your looking for. We quit searching online and started relying on them.
5. Heated floors...
6. Amazing rooms

Cons:
1. Won't let you bring guests back late at night... Being two single guys traveling in BA looking to go out every night this was not ideal

Overall one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at

We stayed here in April and really enjoyed it. The staff were incredibly helpful and would explain in detail how to get to places. They would also offer to ring restaurants to reserve a table and book taxis. The hotel was very clean and we would thoroughly recommend it. This was our first time visiting Buenos Aires and it was fantastic to have such helpful staff to advise us.
