Excellent location next to Meteora. From the first welcome when we were given advice on our visit and loan of a complimentary guide to breakfast next morning to a lovely greeting from Mrs Dellas, the stay was a wonderful experience. Evening meal was a left turn out of the hotel and 25m away was a fabulous restaurant... so good we went there thrice and got to know the staff.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was more than enough. We left a couple of monasteries to come back to... as if we would need an excuse.
We will be back.

Room tip: If you wish a balcony with a view of a Meteora then the premium is worth it.

This is a lovely hotel right at the base of the Meteora rocks. Top notch customer service by all the staff - including recommendations in correspondence leading up to our stay. The staff were accommodating to my requests, the rooms were immaculate.

I loved having a balcony to sit out and relax and see the town and the looming rocks.

We didn't need a car. It is close to the train from Athens so a taxi was very inexpensive. Had we not had our luggage we could have walked from town.

Lovely lounge area - elegant rustic and very very peaceful. The building is beautiful. The staff helped us with recommendations and directions to places to go on our free time. The buffet breakfasts were just delicious - I can't say enough about them. The place was very, very clean.

The value for price was phenomenal.

I just didn't like the fact we were on a busy road so that it wasn't as quiet as I had hoped. It wasn't terribly noisy. But I wanted something more bucolic removed from almost all sound of cars driving by.

I would STILL go there again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room tip: We had the Meteora rocks and the town view - which was best. But I wonder if on the opposite side of building there would be no sound of cars.

We spent 3 nights at the delightful Dellas hotel near Meteora. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and extremely helpful throughout our stay. There is a lovely country hotel style atmosphere with a relaxing bar area with comfortable sofas and log fire - perfect for an autumn break in the mountains.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with a fabulous view of the mountains from our balcony.
Breakfast was tasty and varied and very healthy! Maria took time with each of the guests to explain the breakfast options. All the staff are hospitable, charming and helpful and we would highly recommend the hotel for a holiday in such a wonderful location.
Maria was charming and interesting company and the ladies who managed reception were wonderful -even helping us improve our Greek language skills!

Well located to visit the monasteries and to go to the city for dinner walking, the Dellas is a nice hotel with a lot of charm, very quiet and relaxing. Large room with one double and two simple, with view of the meteora in the first floor, good beds, very nice service. Hotel seems of recent construction. A few details would make it perfect : fresh orange juice for breakfast, better bath products, change the greenish paint in the room for something more modern. Apart from those details, it can really be recommended, especially when you compare to most of the hotels in the nearby city, which are clearly volume tourist hotels with no charm.

Room tip: Some rooms in the first floor have a nice view.

we stayed here for 3 nights to visit the monasteries in Meteora. This hotel gets my vote for cleanliness, hospitality, service and location. The breakfast offering has more selections than what I have seen at most B and B's. The owner, Maria, makes it a point to meet her guests by going over the buffet selections. I thought that was very charming and personal. (although she does not introduce herself as the owner) We picked up on it as we were conversing with her during the 3 days we were there for breakfast. Apostolia at the front desk is just as charming, helpful and friendly (and looks like Shakira). She is always to happy and ready to answer guests' questions on directions, restaurant recommendations, etc even if she probably answers the same questions several times a day, day after day.

The hotel is newer, built about less than 10 years ago so you will not see see frays around the edges. Everything is in tip top, working condition. Housekeeping mops the floor with soap everyday so the room smells fresh. Maria shows lots of pride of ownership for the hotel and it shows. I will highly recommend this hotel to anybody needing a place to stay when exploring Meteora.

Tip: there is a lively market in the center of town, near the big waterfall fountain, on Fridays until around 1-2 pm. They close several streets to car traffic and you get to see local residents shop for their provisions for the week plus more. There are local produce, honey, cheese, dry goods, plants and bric a brac. Very lively, local scene.
