This is the third time that we have visited this restaurant and each time we have taken different friends who all agree that the food is marvellous.
We opted for the set menu C which I think was around £23 per head. There was more than enough food and all really tasty. There were no hidden extras when we got the bill and we felt that it was good value for money.
Lovely friendly service and we shall definitely go again.

no stress here.... gentle thai music in the background and an easy to understand menu. I had the the giant prawn dish and didn't expect anything grand but it was wonderful and I did not need any rice or noodles..... tasty ;and filling. Lovely beer and service good. not expensive either..... recommend it.

After a couple of years of great service and fabulous food at this restaurant it appears that things have now sadly gone down hill. As established customers whi have brought both regular family and corporate business to thus restaurant, we visited this evening and have left again - very upset. We arrived and asked for a table for 3 to be questioned closely about whether we had a reservation - even though the restaurant was half empty. The waitress who was clearly Very inexperienced had to run back to the kitchen to answer even the most basic question. However what seemed to tip them completely over the edge was our request to have a slight alteration to an item in the menu. The waitress yet agaIn disappeared to ask the question and then the restaurant owner appeared and began to scold us publicly for making the waitress cry ! For asking for something off the menu ? Come on ! Needless to say we paid for our drinks and we left. Immediately. and we won't go back again. We can appreciate the problems with inducting new staff but please don't take it out on your customers.

We have eaten at Thai up at the Quay many times and have always had wonderful food and service. The owners are very friendly and the menu is very extensive. We have recommended this restaurant to lots of our friends and they all love it too. We have always enjoyed a good meal and a good evening. The building is very old with a lovely big fire place and lots of beams. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
