The hotel is starting to show its age and years of use but if you can look past the cracked tile and sink the rooms is clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Best of all they had plenty of outlets that accepted flat and round plugs so no adapters were needed. No complaints about this hotel.

no pleasant dirty carpet hotel ,terrible breakfast but only option if you want facilities in the area .Check out small guesthouse named Rujira near centre and next to the market of Mae sot 10 rooms 400 bath , nice little garden to take breakfast or a drink, the manager
( hi or che?)is very understanding . mae sot is a great little city with a diverse population ,
nice shopping near the friend chip bridge ,a lot of antiques chops around , a lot of fake
but a good nose can find good and cheap pieces here ! don't miss about 3 km from centara hotel the best restaurant in Thailand !! KHAO MAO KHAO FANG . Its like a jungle
waterfals every where,tropical plants and wood terrace on the water thre is a pelican who come sleep every night on his tree .real authentic thai food , mushrooms from the forest , dear etc....not listed on tripadvisor !!!!???

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days while visiting the area. We were received warmly by the staff. Check in was hassle free and our luggages were brought up to our room in a short time. We had a room with a king size bed. The bed was harder than the average hotel beds but ok. Our room was up on the top floor so were were away from much of the ground level noise. We had two good night sleep. The pool was clean and comfortable for swimming and sun bathing. Beware: The hotel has a massage room and offers Thai massage. However, when we booked a Thai massage at the reception for an afternoon, to our surprise the hotel bellman brought up a lady to our room for the massage. The hotel aparently does not have masseuse on staff and called in an outside person when there is a request for massage. The massage lady spoke very little English but was able to tell us she works for a ma ma san and gets paid only about 1/3 of what the hotel charges us. She did not have much formal training in Thai massage but performed a decent job in giving a two hour massage.
