“Awesome experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We visited the Pushkar Bagh resort in the month of December and the experience was WOW. The food was great, awesome ambience and on top of that extremely courteous staff. We were provided exclusive bon fire and rajasthani dance show which again was really nice. Do try lal mas (non -veg) its a very famous delicacy of rajasthan. Enogh open space for the kids to play. Very well maintained property and will give you rajasthani feel while you are staying in this property. The sand dunes are nearby and the sunset point is at a walking distance.

Room Tip: Cottages are best. you can have a an experience of Swiss tents which are very comfortable.

“Don't stay here!”

We booked in here as it looked interesting on the website. When we checked in we were shown into rooms with no windows and dubious cleanliness. It sells itself as a typical Rajasthani heritage hotel, but overall it looked like a cardboard cutout with really poor traditional decoration.
The restaurant was dark and dismal although the food was acceptable but not very varied. The worst thing was that, having refused the original rooms we were moved to 'tented rooms' which were cold and rather basic. The drumming and loud music continued into the night and then at 3.30 in the morning workmen started up a noisy generator outside our room which ran until 5.30 so no hope of sleep!
We had booked for two nights but checked out at 8.00 and moved on. Also it's a good 10 km from downtown Jodhpurs - too far for a tuk-tuk and over £15 in a taxi. DREADFUL!

“Nice Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

During a short trip to Rajasthan we stayed at Pushkar Bagh Resort. The resort was a wonderful place to unwind after a hectic day. Right from the beginning everything was in place, the welcome at the reception was warm and smiling followed by very promt service till the end. Ambience was nice, decor was traditional and place was hygenic.
Bathroom was perfect with hot water supply. Food was fine.

The USP of the resort is its location and its staff.

Dear Pratibha Ji,

It was wonderful to have you and the family with us and thank you for your kind words.

pushkar town, while having its own charm, is crowded and many travellers like you, prefer staying in the calm and peaceful surrounds of the mountain, desert and orchid which is still just 10-15 minutes from the important sights.

Do give us an opportunity to "spoil" all of you on another occasion.

stay well

Stay well.

“place which makes you come close to rajasthan”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Its close to the famous bhrama temple but still little secluded from the city. Its not like a hotel kind of a thing, it has something different about it.it doesnt offer u the comfort of a five star hotel but it takes u back to the rural rajasthan. Its quiet and peaceful, rooms were clean. Each room has a rajasthani flavour in it, which makes u like this place. The staff is nice and friendly.

“Lovely resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

After spending a couple of hours visiting holy sites in the pilgrim cities of Ajmer and Pushkar, I was looking forward to some respite from the frenzy crowd and noise pollution. Pushkar Bagh is a lovely resort away from the town area. The room is like a little cottage in the resort, beautiful rajasthani decor, very spacious (including the bathroom), clean and comfortable bed. Service was excellent, food was only so-so (I made a mistake of ordering western food) but they served nice hot puri for breakfast. It's quiet and peaceful.
