Stayed here twice in October 2012 for business. I especially enjoyed the outdoor living area with a fireplace. Truly a "courtyard." I liked staying on the first floor, but the downside of that was that there was no way to enjoy the weather (open the sliding glass door to courtyard) securely. So, I had to run my a/c at night even though it was very cool outside.
Rooms are a tad dated feeling. I had some mold on the bathroom ceiling and some rust on the shower curtain rod. Not too major, but you can tell you're near the beach.
This location is great, right on Pacific Highway, very close to restaurants and shopping areas. Note: closest beach access is a little hard to find. You have to walk about 100 yards across the street to an almost hidden access point. The desk will direct you (my experience with all staff was superb), but note it's about 3-4 flights of stairs to water level. Great views though!More
