We stayed here for one night for a wedding. I didn't expect much since it was a downmarket version of Hyatt, but you can be assured that the Hyatt touch is here. Fast, courteous check in. Rooms are almost on the extended stay lines. Separate bedroom and living room in a standard. The bed and pillows were to die for. I hated to come home to my hard uncomfortable bed. There isn't much close to the hotel other than Target, WalMart, Chili's, a Starbucks and Bed, Bath and Beyond. It's right off I-75 and the prices are under $100. Clean, comfortable, roomy and it had a pool, restaurant and public computers.

Stayed over the weekend. Great service, check in and check out is a breeze. They have big clean rooms which are very quiet considering that a major highway runs right behind the hotel. Bed also very comfortable with clean linen. The corridors are a little musty but its not overwhelming. Had breakfast twice and while fairly monotonous, it was very tasty. We stayed on the 5th floor and the complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The staff is also very friendly and were willing to give advise on what to do etc. All in all, I have nothing but a pleasant experience from this stay.

Room tip: 5th floor very quiet.

This is the second time my family and I stayed in this location whenever we are in Ft. Myers. Our short stay again was pleasant this past weekend. Our room with a King bed overlooking the pool was clean and in great order. The fully-tiled, sliding glass door showers are much better than the old shower/tub with pull-push shower curtains and where my little boy keeps on slipping and falling. It was wider a had more space and maybe even a room for two. The tall shower head had the rain-effect which particularly did not impress me because of the low-pressure coming from the mostly cold setting I was using. But, there is plenty of hot water in it to steam the whole bathroom. It was though a little tight where the door is almost hitting the toilet bowl while opening & closing. The linens on both the king bed and the sofa-bed were nice and clean. The A/C was a little noisy but not irritating. The room smelled good as well as the halls and the elevator - which is a tad slow. Breakfast was very good and kept filled with the constant arrival of guests. We don't mind coming back even if it's a little away from the beach, restaurants, or other attractions.

Room tip: Something new that Hyatt is doing is the room a la carte. I started booking with a low priced king size bed. Then I wanted a higher floor so that's a couple of bucks to secure one. Or, a double-queen room for another 2 or 3. Want a view? You may need to pay a 5 more. All up to you. I opted for the higher floor only, but still got the view - for free.

We stayed here while traveling around looking a houses on the Gulf side of FL. It is not near the center of the city but it was a perfect location for what our needs were. Very easy on/off route 75 with lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff at the hotel couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We had forgotten our phone charger but they had one we could use. There were quite a few items they had for people if needed. The breakfast buffet was what you would expect. Nothing out of the ordinary but satisfied us for our house hunting trips. Had a great pool. I would stay there again.

As a business traveler who stays in my fair share of hotels, I was very pleased to stay at the Hyatt Place in Fort Myers. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced I could not have been happier with the accommodations. The room was comfortably appointed with a full sized couch with ottoman, a king sized bed and great shower with a "big head" shower head and great water pressure! The complimentary breakfast was incredible, especially for free! Fresh fruit, English muffins topped with egg, smoked gouda cheese and bacon! All the usual fare (donuts, waffles, etc...) was also available. Can't go wrong at this hotel! Their Sarasota location is also excellent.

Room tip: I think they are all probably great!
