this hotel offers nice, big rooms with lots of space and quiet. A big plus was the cleanliness and fitness room. Also, coffee in the room. Negatives: service at check in was RUDE! They charged us $100 deposit for all 5 nights=$500.00 deposit on our credit card! We did get it back, but after talking to others staying here they were only charged $100 across the board (3 nights). Also, rooms (for what you pay) don't have refrigerators. Onsite restaurant was good. Would stay again, but will definitely call the General Manager before I do so.

First the positives
-Beautiful, newer property
-located right off the interstate
-nice decent sized rooms
-plenty of parking
-quiet rooms, no highway noise.
-free coffee and bottled water in the room

Negatives
-consistent, horrible customer service across the board.
-room wasn't spotless-long dark hairs on most of our towels
-extremely noisy heating/cooling system in the room. Our ears were ringing when we finally had enough and turned off the AC.
-housekeeping very loud in hallways during the day. At one time I heard LOUD arguing.
-poor service in the restaurant, staff never checked back after food was delivered except to deliver the check.
-black out curtains did not reach the wall.

We will be back to Fort Hall a few more times to complete a project, we will not stay at this hotel again although it is located within a couple miles of our project. We will gladly drive the 8+miles away in Pocatello to avoid this place.

My husband and I made a stop in Idaho Falls for our honeymoon road trip. So far out of the 4 states we've been in this stay has been the nicest. The rooms are large, new, smoke-free and super clean. Don't be fooled by the "casino setting" - the casino is separate from the hotel and in our opinion we wouldn't have it any other way. Were not big on casino's so if you are you might find it as a inconvenience that the casino is not located in the hotel. Recommended to anyone looking for a clean comfy place to rest their head for a decent price.

I recently was in Fort Hall for business and I stayed at the Shoshone Bannock event Center and Hotel. The first thing I noticed when I sat on the bed was OH MY this is heaven. Then when I got into the bed that night well I knew I was in heaven. I never wanted to leave the bed. This was the kind of bedding and comfort you only find in the most exclusive high quality hotels. The amenities were also first class. A huge tiled rain shower that you just wanted to relax in. There is a spa, pool, hot tub, business center and an amazing restaurant. I mean exceptional food, although my one negative comment would be that they are very slow to seat you, take your order and serve you. But the food is worth the wait. Whether your in the Pocatello area on business or pleasure it is worth the 15 minute drive to stay there. It is right off the freeway and truly only 12 minutes from the airport in Pocatello.

Spent two nights here and it was wonderful. The room was large and well lit and clean. Beds are comfortable and the curtains keep the room dark so no early rising due to sunlight coming in. Only one thing I did not care for was the A/C-Heating system the fan ALWAYS runs. Don't mind the back ground noise at night to keep the sound from outside out but it became annoying when we were up. The bathroom shower is a walk in and the amenities they provide were really nice. Had real coffee cups for our coffee...checked the gift shop to buy one but $10.00 was a bit steep for a coffee cup for us. Most of the prices in the gift shop were out of our desired range. We will stay here again when we are in the area.
