“The villa Inn Sucks”

I set up a day spa for my wife, we have stay at the hotels downtown many times but this we picked the Villa for the spa service yet it was close to downtown. Everything sucked. the room stanza4 with the so called fire place was a rack of candles, the amazing two person tub was great however you need to have a 3 day stay in order to fill it. The over all quaility of this places sucked. The spa service I set up for my wife and paid a lot for, was the worse she has every had. The room was 261.00 and spa service was over 400.00 including tip. The food sucked, I really can not find one good thing to say about this place. Will never even consider going there again and would not recomend it to anyone. My wife and I travel alot, and we don't mind spending the money if the quality matches. In this case at the Inn it did not even come close.. Horrilble, we could not wait to get out of there and left at 5;30 am just to hit the road.. DONT GO.

I would like to take a moment and respond to your review. First off I would like to apologize for any problems you encountered during your stay. I wish you would have addressed these problems with one of the members of management so that we could have made your stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately it is against fire code for our establishment to have a working fireplace in the guest rooms. We have multiple pictures on our website showing the candle burning fireplace. Your wife never made any complaints about her experiences at the spa. Your wife did name various spa technicians by name and expressed what a wonderful time she had with them. Unfortunately you did not give us the opportunity to make this experience better for you. We value our guest’s opinions and we would have been more than happy to listen to you. My wife and I stayed there on a Friday night. We had a wonderful evening meal at the INN. Our room was clean and confortable. We enjoyed the stay and plan to visit again.

“management needs training in customer service”

in december my wife had a great massage here
we ate lunch before, and the meal was good - the server was nice but not too attentive
my wife loved her massage, however
she bought her mom a massage for christmas
her mom thought it was okay, but she had a different massuse

i made a same-day appointment for my wife for a mani-pedi (with a 3.5 hour notice)
weather was bad & my wife had other things on her schedule so it would have been better to do during the week. so 2 hours before the appointment i called back to reschedule, but the so-called manager was rude and unaccomodating. she made no suggestions to accomodate us, and seemed very interested in having us pay whether we could make the appointment or not. i reminded her that i would still give the villa my business, just on a different day. she was stubborn and contimued to insist that no change could be made. she claimed that i should be famliar with their 24-hr cancellation policy (i was not). i wasn't told anything when i booked the appointment either.

rather that make 2 very reasonable customers happy they chose not to. their loss. i'm sure i can find more spas in indy that don't overpromise & under-deliver on service. i will go back when there is new management.

I would like to take a moment to address your concerns regarding our customer service and 24 hour cancellation policy here at The Villa. First off I would like to apologize for the inconvenience of our cancellation policy. Each customer is informed of our cancellation policy at time of booking. Unfortunately this policy is in place to allow for our technicians to receive compensation as they work solely on commision. Since you called us 2 hours prior it would have been nearly impossible for us to fill that time slot. Had we been able to fill that time slot we would have gladly accepted your cancellation with no penalty. I understand that weather was bad that day and your wife had other things on her agenda according to your review. However, we still operated under a normal schedule. Had Indianapolis placed any type of travel warning out that day we would have made the appropriate arrangements with our customers. Once again I do apologize for the inconvenience. I certainly hope that you will understand our policy and return to The Villa in the future.

“Great Massage, But...”

The manicure was painful, and when the employee placed me in the room to dry my nails, she left and never came back. I will never go back. The massage was excellent The greeter and the lady who gave the massage were both courteous and friendly.

“This is a charming inn, wonderful location, excellent brunch and spa”

I scheduled a spa event the day before my son's wedding with out of town family. I chose The Villa from a large number of possibilities and I am very glad I did. We had facials, followed by a delicious brunch (and bellinis!), followed by pedicures - all scheduled tightly due to the wedding festivities. The Villa did a fabulous job accommodating our schedule, yet making it a relaxing luxurious experience for all. I have since returned once/month for their specialty no chip manicures. Charming physical facilities and staff.
