“Slice of heaven”

I spent two weeks on Cape Cod starting in May into June 2011. This was my third time so I had narrowed down my favorite places. After touring and staying in many different parts of the Cape and Nantucket we ended up in Provinctown the last week of vacation. I thought we would spend a night or two in P-Town at the Crow's nest but that turned into one week. Every morning we would wake up, make coffe in the lovely full kitchen and sit outside and enjoy the view of the harbor and the Lighthouse. We would linger most of the morning just taking in the views of not only the bay but also Pilgrim lake and the Dunes across route 6.By about 9:30am we would make the daily call to ask if we could stay an "extra" night and since it was slow they always had rooms. It was an awsome way to spend a week on the Cape. The views from everyroom ( we had a two bedroom, two bath unit) where sooo nice. Sleeping at night with my back slider open ( I was on the 2nd floor) smelling the clean, salty ocean air and listening to the waves crashing on the beach below our kitchen window was something I will never forget. The unit was large with plenty of room to spread out. I just wish they would have had ceiling fans in the bedrooms since it was in the 80's when we were there and the one a.c.unit in the kitchen did not cool the whole place. It was still nice. We went to stop and shop and bought groceries to cook at home since we already had a room with a water view!! If you have the chance to stay at the Crown's Nest do not pass it up, it is awsome.

Room Tip: At high tide you will not have much beach but it will be that way any where along this part of the C...

“Fifth stay at the Crow's Nest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

We spent Veterans Day weekend at the Crow's Nest. This is the fifth time we've stayed here. This time we had a one bedroom unit and everything was fine. The room was spotless. Housekeeping came promptly and quietly every morning. Cape Cod off season is a lovely place to visit. We didn't eat out at all, just shopped at the Wellfleet Market and cooked in our unit. The stove, refrigerator and microwave are all full size. All you need to bring is a roll of paper towels.
Our only suggestion to prospective guests is that if you plan to watch a lot of tv, you might want to book a two bedroom. The tv in the one bedroom is small, which didn't bother us because we were escaping from the news and the noise of everyday life. The ocean is right out your window here, and you really don't want to drown it out.

“Very pleasant surprise!”

Touring Cape Cod with my wife, we stopped here for one night but ended up staying 3 nights... so much to do in the area. They only had two bedroom units left so we had lots of room to spread out. Fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms too. So nice to look out over the water in the morning or at sunset - great views right from the living room. Very handy to Provincetown and beaches. Highlight of our trip was taking the whale cruise!

“A Hidden Retreat...”

We have stayed at Crow’s Nest Resort many times and would recommend it to others. We love the staff and the long list of amenities it has to offer. Michelle, the Manager, is truly a sweetheart and offers the resort a real touch of class. We have witnessed her loaning out forgotten beach items to guests, suggesting good book reads and being a Hero to a wedding party with a flat tire. The property layout is well thought out and we enjoy how close the beach, room and parking lot is to each other. Once you walk through one of the building passageways you are instantly transported into a fun and relaxation mode. Two things for the property owner to consider would be adding mattress toppers to the very firm beds and changing out the second level outdoor seating to something comfortable and inviting.

“Nice place on the water”

I stayed at the Crows Nest to visit friends that lived nearby. The stay was wonderful. Nice room , clean, plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Office staff was very helpful and there was plenty of parking with room to open my car door. Views were awesome both in the front and in the rear. My guests that visited me also thought the place was great. I hope to be back soon.
