I spent two weeks on Cape Cod starting in May into June 2011. This was my third time so I had narrowed down my favorite places. After touring and staying in many different parts of the Cape and Nantucket we ended up in Provinctown the last week of vacation. I thought we would spend a night or two in P-Town at the Crow's nest but that turned into one week. Every morning we would wake up, make coffe in the lovely full kitchen and sit outside and enjoy the view of the harbor and the Lighthouse. We would linger most of the morning just taking in the views of not only the bay but also Pilgrim lake and the Dunes across route 6.By about 9:30am we would make the daily call to ask if we could stay an "extra" night and since it was slow they always had rooms. It was an awsome way to spend a week on the Cape. The views from everyroom ( we had a two bedroom, two bath unit) where sooo nice. Sleeping at night with my back slider open ( I was on the 2nd floor) smelling the clean, salty ocean air and listening to the waves crashing on the beach below our kitchen window was something I will never forget. The unit was large with plenty of room to spread out. I just wish they would have had ceiling fans in the bedrooms since it was in the 80's when we were there and the one a.c.unit in the kitchen did not cool the whole place. It was still nice. We went to stop and shop and bought groceries to cook at home since we already had a room with a water view!! If you have the chance to stay at the Crown's Nest do not pass it up, it is awsome.
