“Excellent Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 April 2010

A nice hotel for the reasonable nightly rate that they charge. The hotel is also in a very good location... near a Walmart, McDonalds, and several other restaurants and retail chains.

The room was not fancy but clean. Oddly, the lady at the Front Desk said that the room I was assigned wouldn't have a fridge and microwave available but it in fact did.

The exercise room was small and the equipment wasn't the newest, but better than you would expect from a 2 star property.

Plenty of room in the "Business Center," and there were 2 computers, not just 1 like most hotels I've stayed at.

The breakfast was a nice surprise... in addition to the typical continental items they had biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, and egg patties. Not the highest quality, but still something that you wouldn't expect from a moderately priced hotel.

Overall a nice stay and again the property is in such a convenient location. I would definitely recommend this property.

“Stay anywhere else other then the Regency”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2008

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. When we checked in, our television remote did not work. We asked the front desk to fix it..they had no idea what to do. Various attempts at getting a remote went unanswered. The king sized bed was horrible. It sank in the middle, and the top of the mattress was much lower then the bottom. We managed by putting the sham pillows under the mattress AFTER we flipped it. Very uncomfortable. Room service was ignored for two mornings. The staff is very friendly, just not very competent. We won't stay here again. No way.

  • Liked — Convenience
  • Disliked — No remote control, very uncomfortable bed

“Nice Place”

When I made the reservations I spoke with "Linda". She was very nice and helpful. She also checked us in when we arrived and she was awesome! She really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.
I wasn't sure what to expect from the rooms since it is an older hotel with outside entrances. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our room had a refridgerator and was very clean. We did not go swimming, but the outdoor pool was very nice and well maintained. We did sit outside in the gazebo.
My son wanted some juice and when the vending machine did not work, Linda went in the breakfast area and got him some orange juice for free.
The free breakfast was perfect. They had biscuits, gravy, and sausage and eggs. The eggs and sausage were like what you would get at McDonalds, so you could make your own sausage and egg biscuit. (also had cereal, waffles, and oatmeal)

“Good staff, ok building”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 December 2004

The Ramada is one of the better hotels in town. The staff are friendly, especially Linda. She was most helpful. I really liked the restaurant they had there. Great chicken and artichoke sandwich. The building is getting old and needs some work. The paint on the facade is peeliing some, and the room could have been cleaned better. I would consider going back.
