Stayed here one night on the way to South Dakota. It isn't easy to find because of road construction and we missed it the first time. All the usual amenities are there, ie. fridge, microwave, soap and shampoo. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It's a quiet place to stay and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was typical with boiled eggs included.

If you're just staying one night, find something else less expensive. $90+ including tax is too much to pay for what you get.

Livingston is an hour or so from the north entrance to Yellowstone and I feel that we paid a reasonable price for a nice motel this close to the park. Our room was small, but clean. The staff was helpful. There is a nice shop on site. A hot breakfast came with the room. It was served in the motel restaurant, but was selected from a limited menu. The food was good, but all the choices were small portions, so if you are hungry, you might need to buy something more. The motel has a small indoor pool. The water was pretty cold, but we enjoyed it anyway. Note that they will charge you $1.50 for the use of the safe unless you specifically tell them you didn't use it. Also, since there are five in our family, a roll-away bed was specified on our reservation. We didn't get the roll-away (we used our own inflatable bed) and we had to ask them to take the roll-away charge off our bill, too.

I was very dissappointed. "Choice Hotels" website listed it as one of their new hotels. I took that to be a new built. Won't make that mistake again. It's an old Travelodge that was bought and renamed Rodeway Inn. Very basic room. Screens on windows were pretty busted up and the "made to order" hot breakfast is across the parking lot at the restaurant. You only get to pick from 3 very basic choices for the free breakfast, anything else is extra. Also you have to order before 9:00 am (even on Sundays) or it's not free. Would not stay here again. The Comfort Inn is across the parking lot and looks better from the outside - not sure of the inside but I'd pick that over this one. Good thing it was just an overnighter for us. The beds were comfortable but the sheets didn't fit properly and kept coming off during the night.
