After reading all the other reviews I entered these Villas with mixed expectations. I have travelled to Bali many times and have stayed in several different Villas around Seminyak. Now while the Prahda Villas are not the newest in Bali, and could do with a few things improved such as, water pressure – and it takes a long time for the showers to get hot, a bottle opener in the bathrooms for the supplied bottled water and new towels – there are many pros to these Villas, such as the location and the staff.
We stayed in a Two Bedroom Villa – 4 friends – perfect for this trip. The Villa is big, in a great position, the staff were extremely helpful, although the cleaners are a little hit and miss, yes the towels are old, but everything is clean. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of drinking water, mini bar is well stocked and inexpensive, all TVs have DVD players, although there was no TV in the lounge and no Ipod Doc. Room service was good – we stuck to the Indonesian dishes and breakfast is OK, not unlike what is on offer at the other Villas around town – but the variety does get boring, however Grocer and Grind is just up the street if you feel like a change.
For Value for money, customer service and position you can’t go wrong here.

My girlfriend and i have been going to bali 3 times per year for last 14 years.Stayed at Samaya many times.Stayed next door at the Legian once(yuk)Stayed at the Oberoi in our early days but without doubt Pradha Villas is devine stayed there 10 times now.1bed luxury villa.Own Big pool/spa 5 star furnishings.3 mins walk to beach,eat st,seminyak sq,bodyworks,grocer and grind.Perfectly positioned and perfect staff.Never had there breakfast in room,so cannot comment.Nothing is too much trouble for all the great staff.
Will be back there 2nd sept for 2 weeks.Love it.our second home.

During one stay in Bali, we went wandering to find a nice place to stay next time we visited Bali. We come across one little inconspicious sign that pointed its way down a alley towards the Dusun Resort and Villa Aqua.
When we walked through the main gate of Pradha Villas we were impressed by the staffs hospitality in receiving us, even though it was quite clear that we had only come to enquire about accomodation and pricing. We were offered a cold drink and the sales manager took us through to look at the property.
The two bedroom units were quite standard villas for the area with one bedroom under the main roof and the second bedroom in a separate pavillion next to the pool. Not really suitable if you have young children who might go wandering to come looking for Mum and Dad in the middle of the night.
What caught our eye was the one bedroom deluxe units that were fabulous. The layout of the unit was great with a small kitchen, flat screen TV and entertainment unit, pool straight of the lounge room and separate bedroom which you able to lock up securely and also step straight into the pool. The bathroom was large and open and very clean with no sign of dampness or mosquitoes that we have encountered at other places.
Loved coming back to the villa just to laze around during the midday heat. An ideal place for a couple getaway. Even had friends who were staying at other locations come back for drinks around the pool one night and all thought it was 'Hollywood'.
Staff were always willing to help with queries and every staff member from security guard through to gardeners always acknowledged you as you passed them
Only one thing I can grumble about is the pool didn't really get to see much sun therefore never really got the chill off the water, which is unusual for Bali climate.

Just spent around 2 weeks at the Pradha Villas and could not have been happier!

Why?
1. Perfect position - walk to everything in 10 minutes... the beach, eat street, ku de ta, potato head, la lucciola, bodyworks, you name it.
2. Super polite and helpful staff - they'll clean the room when YOU want it, always ready to help, booking restaurants, drivers. Special thanks to the lovely Nia and the super efficient Dewa!
3. Large villas - There were 2 of us and we had the 2 bedroom villa with the second bedroom locked and it was massive. Like coming home to a house each night. Large living, big bedroom, huge bathroom. Better than the pictures!
4. Superbly kept premises - Upkeep is very good on the common areas and gardens, chlorine in the pool every day
5. Great value - We shopped around before booking and if you stay anywhere else you are being ripped off!
6. Decent food - The included breakfast was not glamorous but was very edible and way more than we could eat each day. The chicken sandwich I had for lunch from room service was better than any I had in a restaurant while over there.
