My husband and I have stayed at several B&Bs in Maine, so we might be a bit spoiled when it comes to expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the B&B itself was just OK. We reserved Room 7, upstairs on the 2nd floor towards the back of the property. The bed was uncomfortably hard and although the bathroom was spacious, the shower was extremely narrow and unusable. The 2nd floor did have a small kitchenette for guests to make coffee/tea, store food in a fridge or use the microwave. The breakfast pictures posted on TA are old and seem to portray nicer options than what we had. Lastly, parking can be challenging. There are only a few spaces behind the building and if other guests are driving SUVs, it is very difficult to maneuver around or into a spot. During our stay the B&B was not fully booked but we still had to park 2 blocks away (not far, but still a nuisance).

The Brunswick is what every B&B should be like. The room was at the front of the building with a nice sitting area overlooking the street. Bed was firm and comfortable; plenty of places to store things. And a good size bathroom. All the details in the room super clean. Except for some confusion about which property we were staying in, all was very easy. Staff TJ was very responsive to adjusting the central a/c in the room( there is also a very efficient window unit). Breakfast was homemade! And very good. A lovely place to stay for Saratoga Jazz Festival.

Very convenient location and a lovely room with a private balcony. Convenient coffee/tea bar with a refrigerator on the second floor. Nice breakfast choices too! Off street parking behind the inn. Reasonable off season rates.

We came up to Saratoga Spring for the first time. The location was great. Very close to everything. Chocolate chips were awesome. A little weird checking in. Did you see anyone. our room had a little balcony which was nice but not so nice was the noise. Lots of car traffic. The shower is very small. The bed and floor is creaky and there is no AC. Just a fan

The Brunswick at Saratoga is in a great location, just a short drive to Broadway and a quick walk down the street to the track. Check in is contactless and we felt like we were the only people staying there until the following morning when we saw other guests at breakfast. For breakfast there was yogurt and assorted pastries, as well as a choice of hot cooked breakfast, meats, juice, and fruit. The French toast was good, and my husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. The location is convenient; however, if you are a light sleeper, it may be a little noisy with all the vehicles going by if you are in a room in the front of the house. Parking is also tight, and the small area cannot accommodate large vehicles. We were in room 2 upstairs with a nice sitting area in front of the windows with comfortable chairs. The bed was also comfortable. The bathroom was average with a small shower stall. During breakfast we were asked how our stay was and I mentioned a couple concerns to our host, and he made note of them. Our room and the entire property were very clean, and the Wifi worked great.

Lovely older home but had all the amenities we needed. Walk in shower and our room was on first floor . Breakfast included in price and was made to order. Location was close to town on a lovely street. A lovely porch and parking in back . Comfortable bed and lovely antique furniture.

The staff is amazing! Dustin is beyond helpful and kind, an amazing human! The proximity to the track, and the ability to share the pool of the sister property makes it appealing, order the breakfast burrito for breakfast! Room 9 is nice and spacious with a large tub

4 night stay, under new ownership/management since our visit same time last year. Rooms, like last year, were very clean. Dustin was always helpful and accommodating. Hot breakfast choices were well prepared. Walking distance to the track and racing museum. Only minor issue, need to improve the WIFI, room 2 wifi was extremely slow most of the time. Rated 4 stars, only because 4.5 stars not available.

My mother and I stayed in room A for 4 nights in June. I chose this room because it has a main bedroom with a queen bed and a separate room with a twin bed and sitting area. The beds were comfortable. There is also a small fridge which was handy. The bathroom was small but had a nice shower. The B&B kitchen is currently being renovated so it was closed; however, the (much nicer) sister property down the street provided a lovely daily breakfast with very tasty food. The staff we encountered at the sister property were all wonderful, friendly, and provided interesting information about the area. Pros: Great location, free breakfast, very friendly staff at breakfast Cons: the road is extremely loud. Listen - I have lived and travelled in urban areas so I am used to traffic, but this road is extraordinarily busy and loud. The B&B is located right next to a busy intersection and when you sit on the pouch you hear constant cars, honking, loud acceleration, etc. You really cannot relax on the front porch due to how loud it is, and there is no place else to enjoy time outside (no yard, no gardens, nothing). Also, the property recently was bought and you can tell that it is currently in transition. There is no art on the walls, no flowers hanging on the porch, the landscaping is overgrown and dying, and the place overall felt ignored and unloved. Also, our room had large, black ants we had to constantly kill. If you stay on the bottom floor, be prepared to hear people walking above you constantly. One night, I guess some people checked in late, and there was constant stomping around until midnight. It felt like sleeping in a boarding house or hostel. Overall, I would say it was overpriced, however, all of Saratoga Springs is pretty pricey so I guess it's the norm. If you are in Toga for the races, however, the location is amazing. If I ever return to Saratoga Springs, I will spend more to stay in a nicer, prettier, quieter place. Hopefully the new owners will turn this B&B into a great place to stay, but it's not there yet.

A Cautionary Tale This place might be nice when you get there, but don’t assume you’ll have a room when you arrive! We love to leave great reviews when we have a good experience, and when things don’t go as planned, we usually just move on. However, our experience with the Brunswick Inn Saratoga Springs was just beyond the pale. We reserved 2 rooms for ourselves and our son several months in advance. When we learned that our son couldn’t make the trip, we called to cancel his room—again several months in advance. There is no way to cancel online, and it took no less than 6 calls to the hotel to confirm cancellation of the one room. We requested e-mail confirmation of the changed reservation, and received an e-mail confirming cancellation of the one room. A few days before our arrival, we called to confirm our room reservation. Again, the people who answer the phone cannot do anything on their own, and it took 3 calls over 2 days—the last one very insistent, to get anyone to call us back. When they did call back, it took yet another 6+ calls, including a consultation with the hotel owner, to figure out that they had actually cancelled our entire reservation and had no room for us at all. They offered no solution—just empty apologies. We recommend looking elsewhere for your stay in Saratoga Springs, but if you happen to try this place, get ready for a lot of phone calls and be sure to check their work.
