This place is pretty close to home, so I've only stayed there twice, but I'd have to rate it as a bargain.

Typical of a Red Roof, the rates are low and the quality of the rooms exceed expectations. The staff was perfectly helpful and efficient, too.

It's an easy-off/easy-on location from the Thruway, and there are many restaurants within a mile or two.

Clearly, Red Roof is not a luxury chain, but they are remarkably consisitent in giving you a lot more than expected for your money. (I've spent > twice as much on utter dumps.)

What a great find. Nice rooms, great price and very clean. Prefer my own pillow, but got a great nights sleep and the staff great. Right off the highway. Great restaurant Delmonico's right next door.

Stay here regularly for business as I have a customer in the area, and am never disappointed. The rooms are typical Red Roof rooms, always clean and well laid out. This one is a little older and can show it's age, but in the end as long as it is clean, comfortable, and a value, that's what matters most.

Very easy to get to from the thruway, a couple of restaurants within walking distance, and a lot more options within a 3-5 minute drive. Internet is very good.

The only drawback is the occasional lack of availability. This hotel can get sold out quickly in construction season and on at least one occasion it was used as an overflow for a local college when the dorms were full. That isn't meant as a slight on the guests, they are very good, just as an observation on how quickly the hotel can fill up.

If you only need a place to sleep, Red Roof is the place to stay. Rates are very reasonable, rooms are clean and stafff is friendly and helpful. Close to NYS Thruway. If you are seeking a little entertainment, Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY, about a 20 minute drive from hotel.
