We've just stopped at the Blackbutt bakery (don't miss it) on the way home from our second stay at Lee Farm.
Kevin and Govina are the perfect hosts and remembered us from our first stay a couple of years ago.
This time we stayed in the beautifully fit out Queenslander with the best outlook on the property. Our 4 and 5 year old kids couldn't get enough of the animals- especially a 4 week old kitten that could easily have been smuggled back to Brisbane if they had their way.
For the adults, the excellent Crane Wines and Captains Paddock are just down the road. As were there on ANZAC day, they didn't open until 1 pm. After eating lunch in Kingaroy, we were annoyed with our choice (Subway) when we saw
the platters come out at Crane- we will be back for some of that action.
With a couple of bottles if wine in tow, we settled back at the Queenslander for a great BBQ on the front deck.
Next morning, the Kids were off exploring and we got to enjoy breakfast in peace.
Thanks Kevin and Govina, you're a credit to the South Burnett hospitality sector. We'll definitely be back and bring some friends to experience what we believe is a SE Qld tourism gem.
