Wolfen Mill provides your own personal retreat. Beautifully furnished with modern appliances (TV, DVD, dishwasher etc), it would be possible not to venture out of the tranquil apartments for a week. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and also those who just wish to unwind, with rolling countryside for miles around. You'd need a car to explore fully perhaps.

Flats are clean and comfortable; the owners are around discreetly should you need them.

Best: feeling totally refreshed after a week's stay; least, expensive but worth it.

We have just returned from a 3 week stay at Wolfen Mill. Actually we have been doing this for the last 5 years or so. Wolfen Mill has been highly rated by external assessment, and is all it claims to be.
The site is just marvelous if you like peace and quiet. If you like walking, the Bowland fells are simply great.
The owners, Michael and Marie, go to the limit to make your stay memorable.
Many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby, and lots of local information provided in the cottages.
Has to be top-rated. We will be back again next year.

I booked this accomodation for myself, my husband and our dog. It lived up to every picture on its website and more. The view over the lake really looks like it does in the photographs. The owners have produced stylish, luxurious, well appointed accomodation for your stay. It is a walkers/cyclers heaven and close to Harrogate, Leeds and York. Plenty of excellent places to eat nearby. The accomodation was immaculate and welcoming on arrival with fluffy bath robes and chocolates awaiting us!!!

We shall be returning, soon!! And if you want peace and tranquility, then go!!
