Barking Mad Farm B&B was a perfect place for us. We stayed in the 7 Devil's room which is very private and comfortable. Great views and easy to come and go. The breakfast fare was fantastic and the company and conversations very interesting with both the guests and our hosts. We will definitely return and recommend staying here.

We stayed in the Treetops suite and the views from the balcony are fantastic. The fact that you can just go down in the morning get a fresh cup of coffee and go back up and sit down in the sun and look at the buffaloes outside is great! A real treat is sitting down with Hunter on the patio and just listen to his stories. Ask Diana and Hunter to arrange a guided tour with Ralph Anderson for you. You’ll not regret it. We had a fantastic tour with him, since we were interested in finding out more about the biology and the Indians in the area that’s what he talked to us about. Hunter and Diana will go out of their way to make sure that you’ll have a good time.

Diana and Hunter are superb hosts. It was like staying with old friends, except that none of my old friends can cook up a breakfast like Hunter and Diana! Great breakfast; great rooms; great view; great conversations; and, absolutely great advice on what to see and do.
It is unusual to find such a pet-friendly B&B! Diana and Hunter are true animal lovers, and were very happy to have us bring our dog. Right now, they have five of their own, plus horses, donkeys, cats...and the farm is big enough to handle all of them as well as guest pets!
We stayed three nights in the Treetops suite, and we were having such a great time we decided to spend a fourth night. But the Treetops suite wasn't available, so we took the Seven Devils suite. Both are very, very nice, but it turned out that the Seven Devils suite was better suited to our needs.
We hope to get back to the Wallowas soon, and if we do, we'll be staying here again!

Our first stay at Barking Mad Farm. Can't recommend this B&B too highly. Both Diana and Hunter are great hosts. They have strong connections with the local community and can put you in touch with knowledgeable guide and made great hiking and sightseeing recommendations. Breakfast is a huge spread, don't bother packing a lunch. The rooms are large and comfortable.

Diana and Hunter are Top Dogs when it comes to running a BnB. Beautiful view, the best Coffee, Yummy and delicious breakfast and great conversation. It just doesn't get any better than that!
