This is the second time my wife and I stayed at the Saltbush Motor Inn, Hay. Both times we were met by friendly staff with super fast check in. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. Probably the cleanest motel/hotel rooms we have ever experienced. The motel is located in the centre of Hay, well away from the busy highways.

The only issue we had, was the temperature variation and poor water pressure in the shower.

We have now stayed at the Saltbush Motor Inn on two occasions when travelling between Adelaide and Canberra and have been very impressed with the rooms and the management. It may not be the cheapest motel in town but it is certainly excellent value. Ask for a room towards the back as it is quieter.

Great place for an over nighter on the sturt highway after a hard day behind the wheel. Little bit pricey but no doubt the best place in hay to rest your head

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was spacious with settee, kitchenette, bathroom, etc. We-fi/internet access available. All the rooms are on the ground floor with parking outside the door. There is a cafe immediately by the entrance to the motel, where breakfast is good. There is a laundry room on site (which is free). The staff are friendly and helpful.
