“Incredible B & B! Can't wait for our next visit!”

Having returned from our second visit to Bramble Rock we found it to be just as delightful as our previous visit over a year ago! As the other guests commented, Ann and Ger were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They remembered us all! The room we stayed in this stay, Laurel, was extremely spacious and there was plenty of room for the four of us. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and nothing was too much trouble! We would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone; it is by far the best one we have ever stayed in!

“A wonderful, comfortable, private place”

This is a wonderful place and great value for the price. My husband and I stayed here with our 12 year old son while hiking in the area in August, 2011. We were delighted with the room. It was sparklingly clean, with fluffy comforters and every comfort, including tea and coffee in the room. There were games and books to entertain us and breakfast was great. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We like privacy and have found some B and Bs a bit uncomfortable, like staying with a family you don't know; the Bramble Rock owners are friendly but each room is very private. We thought everything must be brand new but Ann, the owner, said simply that her husband is very particular and doesn't like anything to seem worn. At the same time they didn't seem to mind at all that we had to empty our car and repack our tent and all of our bags in their driveway, as we were returning to the US after a month of camping.(In other words, they are particular about their B and B and seem flexible about their guests!) The B and B is on a lovely road with lots of great hiking nearby. We would love to return. It is probably one and a half hours from the airport ; I think a family could spend a wonderful last night in Ireland here.

“So good you'll keep going back!”

I visited this B&B twice in 2011, both times with my family. Ann and Ger could not have been kinder, friendlier hosts. We truly appreciated the warm welcome, the modern, clean rooms and the fabulous breakfast. As another reviewer mentioned, Ann's Brown Bread is fantastic - in fact she very kindly shared the recipe and my Dad is still providing us with a regular supply (almost as good as Ann's too!) One facility that deserves a mention is the excellent showers - my brothers have never been so clean! Thanks to Ann and Ger for an excellent stay and I highly recommend them to any travellers heading to Wicklow. Enjoy a dinner in the top local restaurant, the Wicklow Heather, while you're there - another highlight of our stay(s)!

“Perfect stay, wish it was longer”

So welcoming, arrived late at night and were delighted to see the tea/coffee and biscuits waiting for us. After settling in the room (Bramble) the owner kindly made a reservation for us at the Wicklow Heather restaurant and even drove us down so we could enjoy a glass of wine, such a great host. The room was very clean & modern with a great choice of breakfast the following morning. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but would love to come back. The owner also provided us with helpful tips for our walks. Would highly recommend!

“An outstanding B&B”

We stayed here for three nights as we walked our way along the Wicklow Way. This really is a superb B&B and it is difficult to add to all the other reviews which are absolutely spot on. Bramble Rock is by far our favourite of all the B&Bs we stayed in during our eight days on the trail and fully deserves top ratings on all accounts. Our room was so comfortable and spacious and the shower facilities excellent. The breakfasts were extremely good with plently of choice and a well stocked help-yourself sideboard. Ann and Ger are very friendly and looked after us beautifully. It was with great reluctance that we moved on but would most definately return if we come back to this wonderful area again in the future.
