We stumbled across this gem by accident and we were thrilled. The hotel is tucked away a little out from the center of town and from the outside it doesent look like much. But once you walk into their shangri-la like courtyard with a pool and waterfall and ornate decor you will be impressed. The rooms are nicely furnished, ours had a samsung flatscreen TV and samsung AC and two comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly - Cynthia at the front desk is a recent hotel management grad and she was quite helpful.

is my first time visiting this country I am staying at the hotel for 3 nights, is an incredible place, full breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, general cleaning excellent. I recomend this hotel
Room Tip: very nice rooms, I am staying in a room with balcony for the same price!

My Brother and I stayed in this hotel actually by mistake. There is another hostel in Granada by the same name but by no means can you make a comparison. The Hotel La Mar Dulce is brand new and super deluxe. High speed internet, very nice swimming pool, very modern and upscale rooms will not disappoint you. It is a little out of town but a $1 cab ride will get you anywhere you want to go. Just find a cab driver you like, get his cell number and you can have him pick you up anytime you want. Very friendly staff as well.
