We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great location for us. The room was clean. Water pressure in the shower wasn't great but overall not too bad. Loved the included breakfast, which was always delicious and we took advantage of the pool side bar a few times.

We, a family of 4 (two kids ages 14 and 12) stayed here and enjoyed everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel is kept beautifully and is clean. Uur room was very spacious, quiet and overall the hotel is just beautiful. The pool and area around the pool is very refreshing, the garden area is kept up very nicely. The staff were helpful and friendly. We got advise on places around town, and places to eat. We had one morning when we didn't have hot water, we spoke to the front desk, and there was no problem after that. They handled it without a stitch!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return and/or recommend highly.

The owner Mr. Etienne Vanoye and his staff made our stay excellent. He helped us to cure our daughter's disease with kindness and devotion. He recommended us a very good restaurant.
If you have to stay a night or more in Granada, Nicaragua, there is ONLY one hotel : El Colonial !

The hotel is close to town but room was quiet and could not hear all the street noise outside. Very nice pool area, small but cute. Rooms were clean and a good size. We had to be up at 5 am to leave for airport early and there was no running water! Was too tired to ask what happened since I had to wash my face with bottled water!! My advice is to ask ahead of time if they normally turn water off at certain times of the day. Would maybe stay here again.
