just got back family of four -
family rooms cramped and very basic but clean and maids daily
bathroom large and clean
food dreadful children hardly ever ate and they not fussy eaters we ate out it cost more but what meals there was in the evening was served well below temperature if you are a fussy eater this is most defiantly not the hotel for you - must also mention every vinegar bottle had at least one little bug/ant in did mention it but they were never changed this was the major downfall for the hotel
staff were pleasant enough what we did see of them there are few but helpful enough
location fab as is area however not too much for kids but right by beach and shops and restraunts
area is a favorite hol destination for germans all most shops/bars/restraunts cater mainly for these menus ect in german but they are friendly enough
would go back but not to hotel and not with children great chill out place for adults
for the price we paid it was a good deal budget holiday plenty of sun ice cream and beach's
oh if your looking for a good english bar avoid poppys its miserable the owner/manager has issues with customers like your putting him out by giving him your custom??? found it ignorant and would liked to of slipped him a happy pill before we came home. other english bars especially manchester bar great staff lovely and welcoming all spanish bars good to and really appreciate your custom

poor food, filthy small rooms, bad service full of Germans only english in the hotel ,staff speak very little english aircraft taking off every 2 minutes till 1-30 pm so no sleep no air conditioning no hair dryer no fridge unless you pay extra and as this hotel is not cheap it can make a very expensive holiday would never go to Majorca again as every thing is very expensive from meals out to the trips ,which are only taking you to factory,s to try and get you to buy

We were thankfully moved from the Santa Ana in Cala Major to the Hotel Orleans which is a part of Hotel Orleans Garden. Not being able to research this hotel before arriving we were relieved to find a clean, comfortable hotel with good quality food, pleasant staff and a lovely area to explore. The hotel is in two separate buildings which is good as it seems less crowded, sharing two pools and an outside bar.The rooms are adequate if not basic but clean and tidy, no tv but we had not gone abroad to watch tv, there is a tv room on the lower floor. I am a fussy eater but ate good quality food daily and lots of it, my husband was disappointed there was no english cooked breakfast but a good continental breakfast was provided with bacon one day and mini hot dog type sausages a couple of days. Snacks were available at the outside bar from 11am to 2pm, pizza, toasted sandwiches and biscuits, tea and coffee were good and the alcoholic drinks of good quality. Around the corner from the hotel there is a small beach and a few minutes walk further a huge beautiful beach stretching right around the bay. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants, great also for hiring bikes as the sea front has bike paths in every direction. The only downside for some might be the airport noise as the hotel is less than ten minutes from the airport and during the day there are a lot of flights taking off though the noise lasts for approx 3 mins and really did not bother us at all if fact it was interesting watching which planes they were whilst relaxing on my sunbed. I heard no airport noise at night. All in all we had a really great time and will definately go back next year hopefully taking friends, very good value for money and a lovely base in a lovely resort.

Stopped at the Orleans Garden hotel for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The hotel is rated as 3 stars and i half agree with it. Its far from the Ritz but it is a damn sight better than any B&B you could stay in.

We stayed all inclusive at the hotel which enabled us to varied food and drink throughout the day until 23:00. Two large pools one with jacuzzi.

Room was clean and there was a daily maid service (unlike some hotels where its alternative days)

Staff where very friendly and even though english is broken, it doesn't create a communication wall.

This resort is very heavily occupied with german and dutch guests but again seem very friendly and are open to conversation if the opportunity arises.

i would stay here again and I would say that some of the negative reviews are very over critical and you should stake your stay here for what it actually is. The hotel has never professed to being a 5 star luxury place to stay
