My husband, mother, stepfather, and I all shared one room for Labor Day weekend as this was the best price I could find for an ocean front hotel over a holiday weekend. There were a few issues with the room (safe didn't work, tub didn't drain) but when we mentioned to them to the front desk, everything was fixed immediately. The staff was so nice and helpful that it made the experience worth the price. The free breakfast was small and heavy on the carbs (only bagels, waffles, toast, muffins and cereal) but it was free! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It's the Econo Lodge, not the Hilton and so, this hotel provided us with a nice stay. The front desk was helpful, and it's in the heart of what's happening (restaurants, bars, shops, boardwalk). The room was reasonably clean, there were a couple of ants (ground floor room), and the blankets were not clean (but does any hotel ever actually wash blankets?). Overall, again - it's the Econo Lodge, what more were you expecting.

The hotel staff is awesome. We made a last minute reservation and they were very accommodating. No A/C in hall, but we used the stairs. No problems.

I commend this motel! This is the second time staying at the Econo Lodge Oceanfront and we enjoyed our stay greatly. The rooms were spotless. My sister always brings a can of Lysol when we stay in hotel rooms and she said that she felt like she did not have to use it in this room. We were very comfortable with the cleaniness of the room. The staff were very friendly and helped make it a pleasurable stay. The parking is very tight but so is every hotel in Va Beach. The attendant was very helpful parking the cars. All the staff were very attentive. The pool was clean and the temperature for the heated pool was just right. If I had one complaint, it would be that I think the room was a little overpriced but overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
