I booked a room for 1 night to stay while snowmobiling . This is my second stay here. The owners were very easy to work with and left me a key for late arrival. They have an assortment of motel-type rooms, small cabins and group cabins. It was dead quiet at night, I slept better here than at home. Lodging is well off the road which is not very busy anyway. Very simple but comfortable room, queen bed, chair, microwave, lodge decor, very large bathroom (shower only). Recent construction, clean and neat (no TV in the room, but who goes up north to watch TV?) The outdoor themed bar/restaurant is really nice (yep, TV there). The room rates are quite reasonable. The place has winter recreation trails (X-C skiing) and plenty of skiiers showed up Sunday. Plenty of wide parking for trailers. No direct access to snowmobile trails, but you can ride the ditch or trailer 4 miles to closest trail in Langlade where there are a couple small local pubs. In White Lake, check out the White Lake Cafe for breakfast. In summer this place caters to kayakers. Overall well recommended and I would stay here again.
