My family and I stayed at the Baymont last month while in town for a wedding. We had 4 rooms reserved for 2 nights. When we checked in we were told that the key machilne was down so we all had to be let into our rooms all weekend by office staff, which would have been fine except most of the time there was one person on duty and a full hotel. We were all gone the majority of the next day, when we returned after 7 PM I was upse to find that 2 of our 4 rooms had not been cleaned. (My cousin was also staying at this hotel and her trash had been emptied but no clean towels or made beds) I called downstairs and the woman on duty came up and told us no one was available to clean our rooms and after 30 minutes of arguing with her, (and being told that we werent going to get a refund and were welcome to go elsewhere if we wanted to), my husband demanded to speak to a manager and one did come in. She told him they would clean our rooms and so we left. When we returned we were told that our rooms had been cleaned and we were refunded for 2 of the rooms for the night. My mom had also reserved 3 rooms 2 weeks before and when she got there they did not have her reservations, which was fine with her after all the problems we had been having BUT a week after she got home they charged her card for 2 rooms! I will say with the exception of 1 person (whose name I sadly cannot remember) the entire staff was awesome and friendly. They did have a full hot breakfast which was decent and nice as there arent a lot of places to eat in Pinedale. There is large parking lot and the lobby is open and clean. But all in all I would not recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Baymont Inn & Suites traveling back to GA and had a wonderful experience. Patty and the entire staff were very hospitable and the nicest people we have ever met. The property was clean, upgraded and the pool was spectacular. We drove around and checked out all of the area hotels before we made the decision to stay at the Baymont; it's the best around for sure!!! Stay in the executive Jacuzzi suite - it's definitely first class all the way!

If you stay on the first floor near the front desk you will breath in the toxic fumes of the outdoor community BBQ. There are no keys for the rooms. You have to be let in by the lone front desk agent. I literally watched guests sleeping while sitting down on the second floor waiting to be let into their rooms. The doors are locked at night forcing guests to walk all the way from the back parking lot to the lobby area.

Breakfast was the same for 3 days in a row only changing on our 4th day. The hotel caters to low life truck drivers that smoke pot by the BBQ and drink in the hallways and elevator. This is not a family hotel. Beds are hard as a rock. The AC unit is turned off but will turn on blowing cold air off and on all night. The fridge makes noises all night driving those sensitive to annoying noises while trying to sleep a problem.

This is a pet friendly hotel, non-pet guests get to hear dogs running around all night like a herd of elephants.

The housekeepers do not vacuum the room, and do not empty the trash cans in your room. We have the same filled trash cans going our entire stay despite having our beds made and receiving clean towels.

Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Just ask the local people where to eat. Drop by the visitor Center and they will fill you in on all the good places to visit while there. Try Half Moon Lake Lodge. Wonderful food and a very friendly staff.
