My traveling party rented the 2 BR cabin. The place was charming and in a great location to walk to shops and eateries. The owners were very helpful and we would highly recommend it to other travelers.

The Log Cabin Motel is fabulous! If you're looking to get away from a sterile old chain, experience a little historic character, and really have a cozy home to land in for the night, this is your place. We enjoyed sitting on our sunny porch with all the beautiful flowers that Sofia and Forrest have planted and the cabin had enough nice dishes that we could host our friends. We even saw a moose ~10 ft away from our doorstep. Bonus that the owners have lived in the area for years and are very knowledgeable and helpful. Sweet that part of your $$ goes to the land trust, preserving Wyoming for generations to enjoy. The Rock Rabbit has wonderful coffee and nummy food for breakfast only ~2 blocks away.

My husband and I were grateful to find a "pet friendly" hotel in the small Wyoming town of Pinedale...and "find" is the operative word! It is not on the main street of town, and the one billboard says something like: turn at the fourth intersection. Well, we counted...and got lost. Fortunately, because Pinedale is small, we eventually found the motel, a collection of little log cabins, tastefully restored and redecorated. They are the size and standard of a bygone era, and fun to boot! We slept well and Sofia, the owner, sent us to a terrific brewpub for dinner. The power did go out overnight, but that is not the fault of the motel...it was out everywhere. We would recommend it to the adventurous traveler.

Five of us from Central Canada enjoyed the charm and quiet at the Log Cabin for one evening in late August. can't wait to get back with my better half and spend a couple of days. There was great eating as well, just around the corner at the patio! Wonderful country.
