Arrived at the Lodge mid afternoon. Check in was efficient. Our room was good sized and clean. Bed was enormous and comfortable.
Didn't eat in the hotel. Went to the Windriver brewing company. Check this place out if you like your beer.
Just as we were settling down for the evening there was a bit of a commotion in the corridor. This involved some raised voices and the banging of doors. Given that it was around 12am we thought that this was more than a little rude by those involved. This continued for 20 minutes or so with the banging of doors and people pacing up and down the corridor talking.
At this point one of the other guests on our floor confronted those in the corridor and advised them to keep the noise down and get back into their rooms. At this things started to quieten down. However it would appear that the apparent domestic had continued in the room as around 3 am there was another round of slamming doors and raised voices. This quickly subsided and we deduced that one of the warring party had actually left the hotel. Then around 6 am the remaining member of the warring party left the hotel ensuring that doors were slammed at full volume on the way out of the room.
Not the fault of the hotel as such however it did rather ruin our stay in the hotel. Again i must stress that the hotel shouldn't be marked down because of this.
My wife went for breakfast in the morning and was nonplussed about what was on offer.
The room however was cheap and comfortable. It was meant as nothing more than an overnight stop off on the way to Utah and it served it's purpose well.
