“Wonderful presentation, atmosphere, accomodation & location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

As a frequent traveler, I have stayed at The Westin Copley Place on several occasions, both for business and pleasure, and without excpetion my experiences have always been outstanding. It's the first place I think of whenever I am stayng in Boston and want a first class experience. The presentation of the hotel is always exemplary, very neat, tidy, and welcoming. The staff are always extremely professional and exceptionally attentive, and the rooms are always extremely clean, bright, and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble, and every expressed need is quickly met. With great restaurants and shopping on site the Westin is able to provide for every need, and in addition, its location is wonderful. It is easy to get to and perfectly located for those who wish to take in all the great City has to offer. A true home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Excellent service, another memorable stay!”

I have stay at the Westin Copley numerous times and I cant say enough great things about the hotel! From the time I was greeted at the front desk to the time I left, the professionalism from the staff was exceptional. The Director of Guest Services was helpful this past stay in accommodating a special request for the room. I'll never forget the first time I stayed at this hotel and had trouble turning the shower nob. Within 5 minutes someone from maintenance was at the door, and showed me how to use it. He couldn't have been politer! The hotel usually tries to give you a room on a higher floor and for the price, the views can't be beat. Lastly, can't say enough about the heavenly bed! I could sleep for days in it, its so comfortable (that mattress will be my next big purchase). Its also great in the winter to be able to walk right over to the pru to shop without ever having to go outside. I have recommended this hotel to family and friends. I can't wait to stay again!

Room Tip: Ask for a river view on a higher floor if available

“Another great stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012 via mobile

My wife and i stayed for 3 nights before Christmas. This time we were upgraded to a river view, the first time for us , and on a high floor. It was great.

We had flown in from California and typically sleep in when we start a holiday trip. Housekeeping was flexible and just asked us to let them know when we wanted service. Thngs were quiet, the bed very comfortable and the room design very nice. This is a great example of a well run Westin.

“Classic Westin in a Perfect Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Probably one of my favorite aspects of Copley Place is that you can walk forever without ever having to bear the brunt of Boston's sometimes unforgiving weather. I stayed at The Westin Copley Place while one of my co-workers stayed at The Marriott Copley Place. A covered walkway/indoor mall connects Westin, Marriott, Copley Place and Prudential Center. You feasibly could spend your entire stay indoors. Kind of cool. Copley Place and The Prudential Center are indoor shopping centers/restaurants.

The Westin is massive. I think there were 20+ stories of rooms. I was on the 19th floor and had a beautiful view of the river/downtown. I was upgraded to a King plus sleeper sofa. The room had plenty of room and could have comfortably accomodated 4 people. The room itself was of typical Westin standards (which is a great thing). I haven't had much from Westin that I didn't like.

I don't think this hotel has a club lounge. The wi-fi (free for platinum SPG members) was fine.

Taxi from Logan (BOS) was about $30 during PM rush hour.

The location and proximity to other attractions is clearly the big draw for this hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: High up, view of the water never is a bad thing.

“Guest Rooms Need An Update”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

For the price of the room I think there are better choices in the same area I was staying. The room I stayed in was showing signs of wear and tear. My average rating was made stronger by staff. They are well trained, responsive and friendly. The common areas of the hotel were nice. It is a great location connected to a couple of malls and close to Newberry Street if you like high-end window shopping. The bed was comfortable, the view was nice it just lacked the luxury feel for what I thought was a luxury room rate.

Room Tip: Took a higher floor room. Nice view, quiet.

Thank you for your comments on your recent stay at the Westin Copley Place. While I was delighted to hear that our staff exceeded your expectations, I was surprised to hear your comments about the room needing an update. We completed a total guest room renovation less than a year ago, so I would love to be able to go see the room you stayed in to assess the condition myself. Perhaps you could contact me directly to discuss further. Thank you once again and I look forward to discussing further.
