First of all, aesthetically this hotel is top notch. Gorgeous but not overwhelming or too stuffy seeming. The restaurant is lovely as well and was a pleasant spot for drinks (we didn't eat there). The staff was friendly but seemed a little out of sorts, as we stayed not long after the hotel's opening. The rooms are small - as is typical - but are very comfortable and have an efficient use of space. Housekeeping had a few hiccups while I was there (the previous guests' garbage was still in the trash can and chocolate truffle papers were on the floor) but these were quickly resolved. It is a little more remote than some SoHo spots, but not so far as to be a problem. I would definitely stay at Hotel Hugo again and would recommend it to anyone visiting SoHo.
