I travelled to this hotel with my spouse for a week end getaway and we think first of all this is a good hotel for the value. The room was nice, the staff polite and the breakfast good..
The pool needs some improvements.
The sorroundings are very beautifull: Baleal, Carvoeiro cape...

The hotel is supposed to have a great pool scene, but it didn't, at least not at the time of year we were there, which is a few weeks before the summer season starts. All the same I cannot imagine how they can make the outdoor pool area attractive within a month or so. It looked quite shabby on the pool side (back side), but really nice on the front side. Inside everything is nice and clean, and the service is OK. An average twin bed room for €48 a night, breakfast included, is reasonable in my opinion. The restaurant was open only during normal meal hours i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the bar was open all day. The hotel is situated a short distance from the beach, and a short distance from a nine hole golf course. It has its own tennis court, which looked good. All in all a nice hotel, but don't expect any luxury.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is of very poor quality. The rooms are very basic and have seen better days. The outdoor pool is a joke I wouldn't put my dog into it it was filthy. The decor is in need of updating. In fact the whole hotel needs a total refurbishment.

The meals were awful breakfasts were basic and cooked meals were cold. Dinner was also awful with cold food laid out ages before and not very appetising.

The hotel is also quite a distance from anywhere worth visiting. The camping site opposite is not the best view in the world and the surrounding woods are a home for stray dogs who bark all night. Take my advice avoid this hotel.
