My husband and I stayed here for a week in May for our anniversary. We booked a garden view room and was upgraded to a POV room on the 4th floor. We had a welcome amenity of little candies in the room when we arrived.
We had breakfast every morning in the room except for one morning when we tried Duo. I highly recommend Duo. For 35 pp you can get practically everything on the rm service menu for a fraction of the price!
The hillside cabanas are AMAZING and lend a fantastic view of Wailea Beach, which I found a great compromise since alcohol is not allowed on the beach thus there is no beach service. The hillside cabanas give you a feel of being on the beach but you have the service!
Speak of the service, all I can say is WOW! The Four Seasons has service down to a fine art. It's impeccable! They don't ask you for a room number when you charge something to your room, they ask for your last name! How's that for personal? I liked not feeling like a room number!
We had noise issues with people screaming to other members of their party in different rooms across the courtyard and we mentioned it in passing to the front desk and within hours we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite! Oh my gosh, what luxury!

On our anniversary, they delivered a bottle of champagne and a rose for me. I never expected them to remember the date of our anniversary! Heck, my husband had even forgotten until they showed up! ha!
We had dinner twice at the Lobby Lounge which now serves sushi. Sunset from here was magnificent.
Ferraro's was our favorite for lunch and dinner. We tried Spago but it didn't live up to the hype. Ferraro's just have a more romantic atmosphere and we liked the food better.
We used the gym and outdoor cardio. The equipment is TOP NOTCH and I loved being outside while working out.
I did not use the spa but I did go to look at their locker room. They only offer a wet sauna and showers, no other added amenities. I was disappointed in that as I expected their spa to be larger.
The frozen mai tais in the pineapples were our fave!
The grounds are just immaculate and stunning, everywhere you turn it's beautiful.
I was a bit confused at the lack of in room toiletries. We are used to full toiletries in our rooms at other places we've stayed and I didn't even see a shower cap until we got into the suite. Now, don't get me wrong, all I would have had to do is call for it, but I'm just noting this.
Valet was great, as was the concierge.
I used the business center and the in room wireless and loved both.
You MUST do the outrigger canoe!!! by far one of the BEST things we did while we were in Maui!
We also rented an ocean kayak from 4s and we booked a snorkel scooter tour with Maui Undersea Adventures @ 4s. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!!!! PERFECT DAY!!! We swam w/ turtles and manta rays!! so much fun!!!
We tried out the serenity pool one day but much preferred the hillside cabanas or the main pool, mostly b/c the serenity pool gets packed FAST and b/c there are only a few chairs that have a great view of the beach versus many more at the main pool.
The resort was full while we were there but we didn't have to get to the pool at 7 to get a chair or anything, there was always availability.
The rooms no longer have whole bean coffee and grinders, they are auto drip cuisnart makers if anyone was counting on whole bean coffee grinders.
The day we checked out, we took advantage of the Aloha Suite. WOW. this room is a shared facility but it is NICE! Loved being able to shower after hanging out at the pool!
This resort is a MUST for any couple. I didn't see that many kids and those that I saw were shockingly VERY well behaved!!! it was amazing!!!!
I am ruined now!!!! I can't wait to go back!!!More
