“Don't look anywhere else, stay at Swisspoint!”

Montanita is an incredible town, but being a party place if you stay in the centre it can be difficult to get any sleep. Swisspoint is super close to town, but far enough away that it's really quiet. Our multi-lingual hosts were incredibly helpful, and the breakfasts are amazing (definately not your typical Ecuadorian fare). Our private room was huge, with an air-conditioning that actually cooled the room - unlike many in our South America travels and was impeccably clean. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we'll definately come back to Swisspoint for our next trip to Montanita!

Òur host Sylvia was very kind and helped us in every way she could think of to make our trip wonderful. She speaks many languages including excellent English. The food was great, the room very clean with hot running water and we felt safe and secure in every way. I would definitely recommend Swiss Pointe to any serious traveler and I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at Swisspoint 1 night and it was great and we sure will be back.

Hotel:
The Hotel is a little north of center so it’s a quiet place, but very close to the beach, just take a small path about 150m and you reach the beach.

Rooms:
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with satellite TV and air conditioning. There are 2 beds the first about 1,40m and the second about 1m width.

Breakfast:
The breakfast was great everything fresh juice, bread seems to be homemade wonderful, and there is a second dish they serve just wonderful you really don’t need to eat anything else until dinner.

Overall it’s a great stay for everybody who likes a little comfort stay.

TIP: If you not necessary need to be at the beach front it’s the best choice for Montañitas

“WE LOVE SWISSPOINT”

We just stayed at Swisspoint for 6 nights. The rooms were very clean with DirectTV, WiFi and A/ C. The breakfasts were FABULOUS, each day was something different and delicious. The day we went whale watching we were leaving before breakfast would be served, so Sylvia, the owner brought coffee, juice and yogurt to our room for us, and then packed us a gourmet lunch for our trip. She even went to the trouble to arrange the whale watching trip for us, and assisted us with Van reservations for our trip home to Cuenca. we were traveling with our small dog and she treated him like he was one of her own. The hotel is ideally situated, about a three minute walk to town, but far enough away to leave all the noise behind. We had a first floor room, so we were able to sit outside at the table and chairs that were provided to listen to the birds in the morning. Great staff, always smiling and pleasant. Sylvia is a gem!!! Great hotel, we would stay there again!!

Room Tip: First floor Rooms let you to sit outside and enjoy the birds

“The breakfasts were a lunch!!”

We stayed here whilst on a 6 month trip and can't really fault it. Although it's not in the middle of things, in Montanita, it's only a few minutes walk away and we always felt safe walking to and from town at night. The couple who own it, and their young son are lovely and friendly...the breakfasts they serve up are amazing, we didn't need to eat lunch. I think there were about 3 courses, you would get your fruit and toast, freshly blended juice of the day, fresh coffee, cereal and then on top of that, each day something hot, one day it was meatballs, I think fish another day and always presented really well. Our room was spacious and cleaned every day and the surroundings were pretty tranquil. The beach was just across the road so a perfect spot!
